Capital Segway

The Segways worked great, the staff was great, it was the tour itself that lacked. Not really that informative. We went many places and maybe a few things were said at each stop but not very much at the stops and nothing inbetween.

A segway ride is like riding a bike without pumping and while standing up. What a lot of fun. I can't wait to find someone else take with me for another tour!

Austin was our guide and he made our experience fantastic! Two of us were local and we had family visiting from St. Louis. We have since recommended this tour to our friends in the local area. You guys do a great job!!

You can really see as much in these 2 hrs that you could in a day of walking. Aches on the legs on a hot day so get to bed early the night before.

Training on the Segway with video, followed by 1-on-1, then in the park, worked out well. Good reinforcement by Austin on technique while on the tour too. I especially appreciated the headset to hear the information enroute, but also when we were stopped. I also much appreciated the opportunity to ask additional questions. Job well done Austin

Do it, you will not regret it!!!!!

This was great fun, and a great way to see DC. We went on the 4th of July, during the parade, so some of the regular tour was off limits, which was the only downfall. I would recommend this to everyone. The guide was knowledgable and gave us some great info about the sights along the way. A very cool experience.

We enjoyed the tour. Both gentlemen were courteous, informative, and polite. They made sure everyone was safe while keeping the pacing appropriate. Keep up the good work!

This is the second time within a two month period that our motorcycle chapter used Capital Segways for their tours. The first tour was with Jamie and Austin who were very funny and informative. Our second tour, which was a twilight tour, was done by Nick who did a very informative tour which was a little different from the first one and was a joy to be with. Would I recommend this company ABSOLUTELY YES!!!! We are going back next year and plan to book with them again.

I was aprehensive in the begining. I didn't know if I could master the Segway let alone feel comfortable touring on one. But to my delight and surprise I had the best time. While everyone else we passed looked dead tired from walking and the heat, we sailed along in the breeze enjoying monument after monument. Stopping to take a photo then on to the next. I loved my experience with City Segway Tours and have told several locals as well as people I meet on my flights coming into DC. This was no dought the best way to tour DC.

Lots of Fun

Five stars are not enough to rate our tour with Capital Segway and Justin, our tour guide. They deserve 10 or more! This is truly a great value and generated lasting and wonderful memories of the highlight of our vacation to Washington.

I would enthusastically recommend this tour for anyone! I am not a balanced person and started the tour very afraid of he machine - the guides worked with me to ensure I was comfortable and ready to roll and on we went. The guides are great at engaging the group and answering questions and were fun and energetic for the entire trip. They even assisted us in finding a bike rental kiosk after the ride (going above and beyond what was required) - Great company, great guides and great value!

Visiting relatives and I had a blast for the two hour tour. The Segway is a novelty that none of us have tried. They are incredibly intuitive to ride and perfect for zipping around city streets and plazas. Everyone had a big smile at the end and all thanked me for making the arrangements.
