Capital Segway

Our group had several out of own guests. Our tour guide, Tyler, made it a fun and educational tour for locals and out of town guests.. The pace was right on and we got to see and do everything that we wanted to do. The Segways added to that experience and were a piece of cake for us to master in minutes. By the first street of our tour, we all felt like old pros. Highly recommend the tour - ask for Tyler!

I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it, from the the learning in the park to the advice on the hotels and restaurants- The "W" was brilliant advice! Walking round in the afternoon and seeing other companies starting up look amateur in comparison- I was lucky to have picked you. ONly regret was it was 2 hours and not more. iwould have also have gone for a hire for the afternoon afterwards. Walking to the presidents monuments felt slow!

Our tour guide, Tyler, was great. His intro and explanation of the Segways made us feel completely at ease with the machines. The route he took us on gave my visiting family a perfect overview of the city. Then we knew what spots we wanted to re-visit and get a closer look. I recommend you make this your first activity when you get to DC!

This was such a fun way to see the city. The guide was very professional and kept us entertained throughout. It was my first time on a Segway and the instructors made sure I was adequately trained before taking to the streets. It was a super experience, so good that I've decided to do this kind of thing whenever I visit a new city. Superb!

The Segway tour was great! The guides were extremely knowledgeable about the city and the historic landmarks. They also made sure that we were all safe and were extremely supportive and patient with us as novice on the Segway! GREAT EXPERIENCE!!

we booked the tour to suit a very tight schedule, and the team adjusted timings to suit us. The guide (Jimmy) was very knowledgeable and attentive and made it a great tour. They also helped us get transport to our train, when the tour was over. Finally we left a camera at the shop and they couriered it to us, allowing us to get on with our holidays. What a great team!!!

It was our 4th annual Rich Girls Days in Washington. This year we decided to do a segway tour of the city and after some research I booked our trip with Capital Segway. They had the best reviews. From the time we arrived there until the tour was over everyone was very professional, kind, and fun. I felt very comfortable with the tour guides. They showed each one of us individually how to operate the segways which relieved my anxiety tremendously. It was an exciting way to see the city. We plan on doing this again in the summer. SOOOO MUCH FUN!

After a few minutes of feeling a bit shaky, it was amazing how quickly our group of 5 learned how to control the Segways at both a snail's pace and at full speed. These machines are intuitive and way too cool. The instructor/tour guide was first rate. Dress warmly - you'll basically be standing still for a few hours! We went when it was 40 degrees out - the sun helped a lot. We are long-term DC area residents, so the explanation of buildings and monuments was not nearly as important to us as being able to cruise around on the Segways. But we certainly got to enjoy our wonderful DC in a new and unique way. I give the experience and the organization my highest recommendation.

The folks that worked there were amazing. Not only did they do a first rate job on the tour, but they gave us some great tips for other activities that we might enjoy along with some suggestions for places to eat. They were friendly and enjoyable to talk to. We only wish we had taken the Segway tour the first day we were there. We would have enjoyed our stay in DC even more.

This Segway city tour is highly recommended. We had a wondeful tour guide and riding the Segway was so easy we almost didn't want to get off. I would recommend this tour because not only do you get to cover alot of ground in a short time, but the tour itself is informative and well run. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

Tyler was the most amazing tour guide, he even modified the route to accomodate what we wanted to see. Training was excellent, terrified when we arrived but completely comfortable and confident before we left the shop for the tour, made us feel like pros. The energy and enthusiasm of Tyler our tour guide was infectious. We even sang Happy Birthday to our mom and another lady in our group at the Lincoln Memorial. We handed out flyers to people who were asking where we got the Segways. What an amazing experience...will be going back soon!!!!

A great experience, especially with teenagers. Tylor was a perfect leader - fun, knowledgeable and caring.
