We really enjoyed the tour and getting to get acquainted with the Segway. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

Capitol Segway was a great addition to our D.C. experience. The guys were fun and informative. This should be on your to do list when you visit D.C. I would suggest doing it first to give you the lay of the land and then go back to see what you are interested in afterwards. The smaller the group, the more you can see. Definitely worth the money.

My daughter and I took the trip. The segways were easy to learn to ride and the trip was a really fun way to see some of DC. The guides were great.

Me and my husband did our tour on Thursday the 18th of November! It was a gorgeous day! We had so much fun. Segways are a great way to get around and see Washington DC which has so much to see. Our guide Aron was excellent, really knowledgeable about the sights and good fun. Our group was small too which was nice. We would so recommend this tour. Now we would like to get a segway each rather than walking everywhere!!

I highly recommend this Segway tour! It's not comprehensive enough to provide close up sight seeing to the major DC attractions but we had great views of the White House, Capital and mall and really enjoyed the ride. I'm a local and plan to take all my (willilng) out of town guests on one of these tours.

GREAT WAY TO SEE WASHINGTON

Segway tour was amazing. Guide was very informative and friendly. My only criticism is that on the day our tour was scheduled it was raining and the tour was cancelled. We were from out of town (Toronto, Canada) and we were informed by the tour operator via a telephone call to our home. They had our email address and should have used that rather than leaving a telephone message that we never checked. Another couple from Ireland also showed up and were told they were also telephoned to tell them the tour was cancelled. We both had laptops and should have been emailed.

Our guide, Austin, was a great addition to our small group. Turned out just our family was the group, so we had a private tour. And even though I am a Washingtonian, I did learn some new facts about the area. He was well informed on the whole area and it's history. We had a blast! Mixed age group and all went well....

We had a wonderful time. We just moved to the area 6 months ago and went on the tour with a visiting family member. The tour guides were enthusiatic and knowledgeable. They were also patient with us as we learned about to use the segways. I would highly recommend this, although it is a bit pricey.

The staff at Capital Segway made the tour a tremendously enjoyable time. Segway instruction, for someone new to the vehicle, was clear, and made the first time on a Segway safe and fun. I highly recommend Capital Segway. We will likely go on another tour.

This was by far the best birthday present I have bought myself. The Segway was so much fun I didnt really even care about stopping and taking pictures of the Washing DC historical sights. I now must find a spare 5 grand so I can by my own Segway. Do you look like a dork? yes. Do you care? no. Our tour guides were so down to earth, friendly, and informative. Also very funny. I would definatly recommend this tour. Ben

Cheers to the tour guides, Andrew & Mario, for taking a group out on such a cold, windy day. Kudos for their sense of safety on the road, i.e. knowing where we were crossing and having a rear-rider to redirect traffic coming up behind us. They handled with aplomb one rider who had a couple of big falls -- I think they ended up cutting a few things from the end of the tour (e.g. the Willard) to get her and us (it was cold!) back sooner, and I didn't mind at all. The sites we visited were pretty diverse, and we got some good views around the Penn Quarter/Mall area. All that said, there were a few burs. One guide essentially said the safety video was dumb and not very useful because it showed riders what not to do -- however, the vast majority of it was actual instruction on safe practices. Overall, the guides' sense of humor was taxing -- self-deprecation only entertains for so long, and poking [granted, good-natured] fun at the other tour guide even less. There was no sense of enthusiasm for the wisecracks or the tour's talking points -- the most I heard was sarcasm about the Congressional staff's tunnels and train. Considering there are other operators nearby with comparable prices and routes, I suggest seeking them out.

My brother & his girlfriend came to visit my husband & I for the weekend. They wanted to tour DC, but I hurt my knee and couldn't do all that walking. I work in DC and see these Segway tours zip by me all the time. I figured, what the heck, we'll give it a try, at least they'll be able to see the city. We all had such a blast!!! The segway was easy to get the hang of, and was super fun to ride. We were able to see many of the city's main attractions. Marco, one of our guides, was both informative and really funny. We had so much fun that we'll be back in the spring to try the other tour Capital Segway offers. Thanks so much guys!

Wow, my teenage boys and I loved this tour. It makes us want to go out and buy a Segway right away. Aaron and Mario are perfect for this job. They mix fun and enthusiasm with their historical interpretation. Two hours is just right.
