Capital Segway

This is the second time we have done the Capitol City segway tour. We had a very funny and informative guide. We received excellent training on the segway.We especially appreciated that we were linked by headsets so we could hear the commentary perfectly and didn't have to stop each time the guide wanted to say something.

We had a great time. Tour is OK, but it's really about riding the segways. DC makes a nice backdrop for the ride.

We are still talking about our experience touring DC on SEGWAYS! My husband, Mitch and I have recommended the concept and Capital Segways to everyone that we've talked with because we had a blast whizzing around the city taking in the many sights! Reservations were easy and confirmation quick. Steve at Capital Segways welcomed us on the morning of our tour and our tour guide, Max was professional, thorough about instructions for the Segways, funny and quite informed about the sights in Washington, DC. Tons of fun at a fair price...worth the exhilaration! My husband who is 85 and I had the best experience on the tour. We never could have walked to see all these places. The tour guide Adam was great and we both had a fun tour of Washington that we will never forget.

My brother and I attended a wedding in the area, and we decided to cram in some sightseeing. We are SO glad we did. We had a ball, and our Facebook photos are getting rave reviews!

This was a great tour!1 I would not choose any other tour of the National Mall. After a short introductory video and a few minutes getting used to riding the segway you are on your way. It is very easy to maneuver and no one in my group had an issue with it (except me of course! lol. I did jump of a couple times)!! The tour guide was awesome and very knowledgeable of the area and its history. You will learn some interesting things, not just basic watered down facts. If you are not a history buff, it doesn't matter, because its so interesting and fun!! You will have more than enough time to stop and take photos if you choose. If you're looking for an up close and personal tour that is more fun than sitting on a bus THIS IS IT!! Be sure to wear sneakers, you're feet will get a work out like never before :)

We were skeptical at first because my parents are older, 73 and 68. But as soon as they tried it out, they had no problems at all. It was a lot of fun and our tour guides, Matt and Tyler were awesome. We took the 7pm tour and it was spectacular. I would highly recommend you take a trip on a segway. It is great fun!!

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) did the 2 hour tour that was late in the afternoon. Our tour guide Austin was GREAT! Lots of information, funny stories and, since we were the only ones in our group, he took us a bit off route to see some places of special interest. Highly recommend for first time visitors with limited time to see the city - you can cover a lot of ground and because the headphones allow you to keep moving while receiving information, you really can learn alot. The segways are intuitive and thus very easy to ride . Once again, a shout out to our guide Austin, who was awesome! (The funniest part of our tour was when a tourist (clearly an American) on foot stopped our guide Austin to ask where the Statute of Liberty was located. Sadly, I'm not making that up.)

We were a group of 5 ranging in age from 17 to 54, and we all had a great time on this tour. There are a lot of great picture opportunities, and you don't get tired like you do if you walk around DC. I'd definitely do it again.

We had a GREAT time. The Segways are really fun to ride and it was a wonderful way to get around D.C. and see the sights. I would highly recommend this experience.

Four women (all in our 50s) took a two hour tour of Washington, DC. Two of us were really excited and the other two were on board quickly. Our tour guides were great, informative and safety conscious. We thought we might just be riding down the side walk, dodging pedestrians but we were allowed on the street and close to many of the sites. We had a blast and would recommend this tour to anyone!! Great tour for the price!! Our only regret was when it ended!!

We had limited amounts of time to visit as many points as possible in DC. I had walked the mall already, but my husband had not. Instead of walking, we decided to take this tour. It hits all the spots you think you should see, from the Lincoln Memorial to the Capitol, and a lot in between! Our tour guide was fantastic. I loved the radio headsets, which enabled him to give us lots of fun facts about the things we were seeing as we zipped down Constitution and Pennsylvania Avenues (among others). We'd never been on Segways before, and I was a little leery of staying upright and stopping; the "safety" video didn't help much -- it scared me! But after a brief orientation session, it was really very easy. All-in-all, we went further in two hours than I had walked in a whole day! I highly recommend this tour, and would do it again.

My friend/coworker and I went on this tour the first night we were in town for a conference. The Segways were fun, and the sites we saw were beautiful at night. We got tons of suggestions for places to go to eat and drink, and we used several of them during our trip with great satisfaction! Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly.

My wife and I were trying to purchase last minute Segway Tour tickets but all time slots were taken. We found that Zerve did have some space that fit our tight schedule. I was slightly confused as to just what Zerve was as they were somewhat cryptic as to who the Tour Company was and exactly where the actual business was located so as I moved through the on-line form I was very apprehensive that I was being scammed. Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised as I arrived at the store to find there actually were Segways there and that they had my reservation as well. The tour was great, the guide was well informed and kind and the group was 100% satisfied. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting our nation's capitol. MB from Hawaii
