Capital Segway

This was an incredible way to see Washington DC. It was myself, wife and daughter. It was great to be able to get around to all the major sites and allowed an overview of the city to be able to develop a plan of attack for future sightseeing. I would recommend this tour to anybody. It was well worth the $65/person. A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The tour guides were amazing! At first the segway can be a little intimidating...but they helped us to relax and become one with the unit. They were well versed in the monuments and also added some humor to the tour too which was a plus. And just the fact that I know that everyone in the US has busy lives, but the fact that the tour didn't take a huge chunk out of our schedules was also perfect!!

Great light commentary and a fun way to save your feet and still see the sites. We had a ball and are looking to do another Segway tour in another city as we continue our holiday around the states.

My wife and I have lived in the DC area for 40+ years. We know the city fairly well. The tour was fun, the guides knowledgeable and the group engaging. The tour has now become one of the hits for out of town visitors, along with Shear Magic and the Air and Space museum(s).

This is the second time we have done the Capitol City segway tour. We had a very funny and informative guide. We received excellent training on the segway.We especially appreciated that we were linked by headsets so we could hear the commentary perfectly and didn't have to stop each time the guide wanted to say something.

This Segway tour was a great experience. The equipment worked flawlessly. The training was quick and thorough. Scott, our guide was wonderful. He was knowledge, personable and entertaining.

My fiance and I have lived in DC for 4+ years and just decided to do a Segway tour on a whim. It was more than worth it! We've already talked about taking my parents on the tour when they're next in town. Great experience! The segways were fun to ride and our tour guide, Larry, was friendly, informative, and funny - we loved his jokes :)

This tour was great! Our tour guides Chris and Larry were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I had been to DC before and done a walking tour, but that gets very tired very fast. The Segway Mall tour allowed us to see in 2.5 hours what would have taken all day on foot. We had plenty of time to learn how to operates the Segway, (it only takes a few minutes) and then we were off! We had plenty of time to see the sights and get all of the pictures we wanted. This tour was well worth the money and we intend to do it again!

Being Northern Virginia residents since we were kids, we have been to D.C. as tourists more times than we care to count. So why pay for another tour? Because we got to ride segways!! Now, that may not seem like a big deal, but it's all about the experience. We had so much fun that we found ourselves not wanting the tour to end. The company and tour guides were great and we highly recommend other doing the Capital Segway tour! Our tours guides were great. They were extremely friendly and had a great sense of humor. They had us laughing and completely entertained as they narrated and guided us through the city. They were very educated about D.C. and the attractions -- we learned things from historical trivia to great yet little-known restaurants and everything in between. They were also great about making sure everyone completely understood how to use their segway and was comfortable riding it. Safety was their top priority. Our guides were constantly aware of where everyone was and what they were doing (i.e. they gave us enough time to take pictures, they offered to take our pictures, etc.) They made sure nobody got left behind or was in any kind of danger when we had to drive in the street. We really appreciated that. Overall it was a superb experience. We had so much fun and barely had to think about anything because we were so well taken care of. We highly recommend the Capital Segway tour to everyone. It was worth every penny!!!

The Segway tour is definetly the way to go!! Fun to ride, and our tour guide was great! The only downfall (and I really I had to think) was maybe a couple more rest stops off the segway would've been nice. However, I really enjoyed as did my 16 year old son LOVED IT!! Will definetly do this type of activity again!

We really learned a lot and had fun doing it! Learning to ride the Segway was very easy.
