Capital Segway

So fun...training was complete and well done. We just loved trying something new and 'breezing' around DC this way. The only down side is you are having so much fun on the segway you don't see the sites except to glance

On a cool day, we had our doubts as to our sanity to take this tour but it looked very interesting and it was worth it. We had a great tour guide, Justin, and he kept our minds on the tour and not the weather. He knew the city and had us smiling throughout. We had never been on a Segway but this was lots of fun and we will try a Segway again. It was worth the money and the time

Apprehensive at first and now we are hooked. Capital Segway and our tour guides were the best. Adapted quickly to the Segway with their attentive training and became extremely comfortable. We did the night tour which was wonderful. Anyone can ride a Segway!

Learning to drive the Segway was easy. Having the wireless communication with the guide was wonderful for learning about the sites as we passed them, as well as for instructions on where we were going and street things to watch out for. The guide had a fun, youthful perspective on DC, which I appreciated. A few of the places he pointed out I went back to later on foot and wasn't disappointed. We had wonderful weather, which also helped in the enjoyment. Zooming down the center of Pennsylvania Avenue won't be easily forgotten!

We were a group of mixed aged adults. The starting location was easy to find on the metro. We loved this segway tour. We had a chance to learn how to drive them, stop them, and go fast and slow. We got to be experts! The tour guides were friendly, informative and flexible. We'd do this again in a New York minute.

Cap Segway is a really fun way to see the major sites of Washington, D.C. The Segway's are easy and fun to ride and the two tour leaders were knowlegeable and funny. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

Besides the thrill of experiencing a Segway, for my money this 2 hour tour is the best way to get a solid idea of the layout and important points of downtown Washington DC. Tour guide Justin was a wealth of information and important anecdotes and kept the tour clipping along at just the right pace.

I took the tour with a friend visiting from California (though I am local). We took a different Segway tour the last time she visited with a different tour company, and the Capital Segway one was far superior. One reason is the wonderful tour guide, Jim, who was a wealth of information and funny stories. Also, the use of the headset greatly enhanced our enjoyment since we were always able to hear those stories, even when we were single filing through city streets (in the other tour, which didn't use them, you could only hear the guide when we stopped and gathered round). The segway machines themselves seemed newer, and the instruction prior to the tour seemed more individualized. All in all, it was a great way to see DC.

we recieved training etc., which was excellent,and our tour guide was fantastic-nothing was too much trouble and he was well informed,friendly and made the experience most enjoyable ...would certainly recommend this activity..colin dow

Loved riding the Segway around the monuments in Washington, DC. Tour guide was knowledgable and humorous. Two hours is the correct amount of time for this.

We really enjoyed the tour and riding the Segways. Equipment was in good condition and guides were very personable.

At first I was nervous while testing the Segway, but realized it was as much being in the close quarters of the store with other parked machines and people moving around as my inexperience. As soon as we wheeled into the park across the street, I felt very comfortable and enjoyed the experience from there on. In fact, we're going overseas this week and are already looking into taking another Segway tour at some point during our stay. Thank you for a very informative, fun-filled tour. It was fun!

My husband and I had such a great time. It was a very information tour and you didn't half to walk miles to see everything we saw. I would recommend this to anyone who visits Washington DC.

I took my nephew on a trip to Washington, DC to celebrate his 16th birthday. This activity really helped to firm up the celebration because you must be at least 16 to ride the segways, just perfect. I turned 60 earlier this year and I can tell you that we both thoroughly enjoyed riding the segways and the very informative tour provided by our great guides. They were full of the "regular" information guides provide, but it was the additional fun things that made me laugh and thoroughly enjoy while I was learning about our great capital. Go of it! You will have a great time.

Seeing D.C. many times but it was new all over again via Segway...had a fantastic time!
