Capital Segway

This is my second tour with capitol segway. It was another amazing adventure family adventure. I would recommend it to anyone. Our guide, Justin was great! Thanks!

I felt that this was worth the money. The company was very thorough in preparing us in correct use of the Segway. I enjoyed the tour and thought that 2 hours was the right length. I would have liked to have gone by the Washington Memorial if possible in the 2 hour tour as well. We had a great time though and would definately recommend this to visitors.

My 18 yr old son & I took the early morning tour. Our guide Karon was awesome! Couldn't believe how much ground we covered in two short hours. Our first time on segways and that's the way to travel. So much better than a bus or waking. Karon was cheerful, knowledgeable and patient (we had lots of questions). Segway training was great, she let us practice in an open area until we mastered it. I'm definitely coming back with my wife later this summer!

What a great way to see some of the highlights of the city. Fun and easy for all ages. In just minutes you will get the hang of the segway. I highly recommend this tour.

We are from the area and decided to do the Segway tour more for the thrill of riding the Segways than for the tour itself. We didn't really learn much more about DC from the tourguide than what we already knew. Riding the Segway was the funnest part of the experience.

My 17 yo son and I did this tour...it was by far best way to see Washington DC. Definitely will recommend to Antone. Fantastic!

What a great way to see the city! My husband & I are originally from the area & have spent a great deal of time in the District. We both enjoyed the tour very much. Bring bottled water there are holders on the Segway.

This was recommended by friends and family and I'm so glad that we decided to take the tour as well - it was great! If you're not able to spend a lot of time in DC this is, by far, the best way to see it; however, it's a great way even if you have a lot of time because then you can spend more time visiting the museums, etc. The segways are easy to ride and just a blast. Thanks to Jamie, our guide, he was awesome!

We came down to the Rolling Tunder 2011 and stoped to ride segways and had a Great Time thank you for that.

The focus was the tour and not the Segway, we saw more of the city in less time than we possibly could of had we been on foot, but the Segway was so enjoyable we're thinking of buying two to use locally.

Very good outfit for riding segways. They have current machines in great shape and provide good and quick training. Good way to see a lot of classic sites in a short time - 2 hrs. If you were to walk this route you couldn't do it in 6 hrs and you would be dead.

4 Reasons why this is a GREAT tour! 1. SEGWAYS: If you have never been on a segway what are you waiting for? Our tour was 5 couples all in our 30's and 40's. Some of us were shaky for the first 10 mins but then after whizzing around a local park we were all pros. This is partly due to some decent instruction by the Capital Segway guys but mostly due to these awesome machines. If you can stand around then you can ride one of these. Really! 2. THE BOYS: These guys run the whole show. In our smallish group they were excellent. Charming, funny, patient and positive from the initial greeting, through training and to the end of the tour. They are very casual and low key thus taking any anxiety or stress totally out of the experience. Also, each tour had 2 guides, one narrating and the other checking out the route and ensuring everyone was OK. 3. WIRELESS HEADSETS: Something that really seems to set this tour apart is the wireless headsets that everyone wears. This means the guide can continue to give you info and instructions at all times wherever you are. This leaves you free to ride at your own pace and circle around the area while the guide is talking. Any worry about missing what they are saying or having to keep within earshot is gone! From what I have seen, this segway tour has them and a lot of the others do not. I have no idea why not!! 4. WASHINGTON: this city is made for segways - lots of amazing sites separated by large distances with many bike lanes, parks and open areas to roll in. The tour had a great mix of using the segway for fun and for transportation. All in all, my wife and I could not have asked for a better experience. Big smiles on our faces the whole time! 10 out of 10.

I really thought that it would be difficult to ride, however, it turned out to be very easy. No one should hesitate because of this. Also, I saw more in the short time than walking around and the tour was more personal than a bus tour. I would do it again, and have looked into segway tours in other towns.
