Capital Segway

My husband and I were holidaying from Australia and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We have used segways before and they were great with everyone in the group. The tour was informative particularly because of the ear piece u get so u can hear the guide at all time.

My mother and I went on the tour and we had a BLAST! The guide was informative and quite friendly. The segway training was very helpful and the segways were much easier to use than expected. It was definitely a quick and breezy way to see many of the amazing sites in DC in a short period of time. A must-do activity!!

Segway easy to use and the tour was great fun!

I have travelled many years and to many locations and this was one I the best tours I have ever been on. I was a little nervous at first that I would not be able to master the Segway, but within five minutes in the store I felt great. With another ten minutes outside I felt like I had done it for years. The tour itself is a great overview of what DC has to offer and was perfect for a quick afternoon stop in town. We covered so much ground in a short period of time. The information shared by the guide was a great combination of educational and quirky. I have had the opportunity to see many of the sites previously but I still learned a fact or two. My favorite part was cruising down Pennsylvania Ave. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone. Riding the Segway was awesome and I will seek out these tours in other locations of travel.

At first I was nervous while testing the Segway, but realized it was as much being in the close quarters of the store with other parked machines and people moving around as my inexperience. As soon as we wheeled into the park across the street, I felt very comfortable and enjoyed the experience from there on. In fact, we're going overseas this week and are already looking into taking another Segway tour at some point during our stay. Thank you for a very informative, fun-filled tour. It was fun!

A Segway tour is an outstanding way of getting around to explore primary DC memorial sights. This is the third time I had participated in a Segway city tour and I am always pleased with what was able to be seen in a relatively short period of time as well as the extreme fun it is to operate a Segway. I highly recommend the experience!

It is our the 2nd time on this DC tour, they do a great job and I love the head phones. Everyone hears what is being said along the tour. Easy to navagate the Segways. Great way to see parts of DC.

I chose Capital Segway because they offered headsets with a live guide. Other companies claimed they'd keep the groups small so everybody could hear. There's no way to say how happy I was I made that decision. The constant contact with our knowledgeable tour guide really enhanced the experience, regardless of how far we spread out. That would never happen without the headsets. I heartily recommend Capital Segway to anybody considering a Segway tour in DC, and will probably do it again myself if I go back..

Segway was a great way to get to see the major monuments and attractions around the Mall, without having to spend all your energy walking everywhere. The tour could have been improved by the tour guide speaking more slowly so that we could understand what he was saying. We could only hear about 50% of what he said. There needed to be more consideration of people who were going slower on the Segways.

The segways are easy to use and safe. The tour was 2 hours but seemed like much less. The guides were funny and friendly. I enjoyed every minute of it and look forward to doing it again. The price was a little high and I would do it more often if it were a little more reasonable.

The tour group unanimously said, "Tyler was awesome!" He kept it fun and safe at all times. He was extremely flexible in adjusting the tour to meet our interests. We thoroughly loved the Segway experienced and were amazed how easily and quickly we mastered it. We saw in two hours what would have taken several exhausting hours to do by foot. What a memorable experience that was.

My partner never visited DC, and we took your tour to get a nice feel of the city - and we certainly did. it was simply great. our tour guide Tyler was nothing short of remarkable - kind, knowledgeable, patient, and helpful.we found his take on the city intriguing and enjoying. Our other guide was great and kind too (I think his name was Johnny?), but he had one major problem - he talks either too low, or too fast, and sometimes swallows words, which made it hard for us to follow his take on the sites we were segwaying through. I speak native English, and it was still hard for me to follow, not to mention my partner. But again, all in all, a great experience which I will gladly recommend to anyone visiting DC. Thank you!
