Cape May Whale Watcher opened its doors in 1993. Since that day, their mission has been to continue to be the leader of their industry in New Jersey.
With the original 110 ft vessel that began running in 1993, Cape May Whale Watcher has carried well over a half million passengers both around the Island of Cape May and Wildwood, as well as offshore. It holds up to 290 passengers and boasts 350 feet of viewing rail space!
They have viewed Humpback, Finback, Minke, and Right whales as well as countless Bottlenose dolphins. They have also seen sharks, sea turtles, ocean sunfish, and numerous other forms of sea life.
In 2008 the Spirit of Cape May joined the fleet! 110 feet long and holding up to 405 passengers, the Spirit is southern New Jersey's new first class vessel for whale and dolphin watching, and hosts dinner cruises and cocktail party cruises daily.
