Even tho the weather was not as lovely as hoped, the trip on Carrie was delightful. The guide was very clear in her announcements and easy to understand and quite entertaining. The boat was full but there was room for everyone to be covered from the wind and rain. Money well spent.

Unique view of Ft Lauderdale waterfront mansions

The Carrie B tour gave us an unparalleled view of the wonderful mansions along the New River, Intercoastal Waterway and Port Lauderdale. Our guide pointed out particular homes of interest either because of their architecture, history, famous former or current owners, or one of a kind features. The guide was also familiar with most of the large yachts anchored along the way and gave us information on them and their owners. The Carrie B offers covered indoor and outdoor seating, clean rest rooms, and sells snacks and drinks. We were offered souvenir pictures and keychains at a reasonable price. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Would do it again!!

Because of an illness we were not able to visit Ft. Lauderdale so we had to cancel hotel reservations but the Carrie B. tickets that we purchased through Zerve were unrefundable which I think is quite unfair.

Enjoyed the commentary but wished there had been more idenification of the homes and yachts. However I guess I just like gossip! Did get a significant amount now that I reflect on the trip.

Boring cruise that seemed ONLY to focus on MONEY!

Pretty views, enjoyable hour on the water, BUT BORINGBORING BORING narration about THIS multimillion dollar home, and the BILLIONAIRE owner, and THIS MULTIMILLION DOLLAR yacht. One or two such notable comments would be alright, but that is ALL this cruise was about. Plus, most of these so-called multimillion dollar homes look old and dated, and I doubt they would get anywhere near these millions in this dreadful real-estate market. Unless you have NOTHING else to do, SKIP this cruise and save your money! Gives a bad impression that Americans ONLY care about money
