My husband and I were vacationing for a week in Myrtle Beach and were interested in seeing the surrounding area. The Charleston day-long bus tour provided exactly what we were looking for! The bus was clean, the driver courteous and helpful. The carriage ride/tour was very informative as was the boat ride. Both provided us with an overview of the history of "old" Charleston and brought us up to speed as far as "today's" Charleston is concerned. The walk thru the old market was fun - we could have used a little more time to shop, tho. The box lunch on the boat was excellent and hit the spot! The Boone Plantation tour was a great way to end our cultural day! The bus, carriage and boat tours were on-time and since we had a small group, we proceeded from one activity to the other without missing a beat. The trip contained the perfect balance of sitting, walking and learning. All tourguides were well-informed and answered all questions with enthusiasm (even tho they probably answered the same or similar questions 100 times before). I would heartily recommend this tour to anyone traveling to the Myrtle Beach area.

Carriage tour through historic Charleston was an informative and unique means of seeing the area. Box lunch was delicious. I expected cardboard flavored cuisine, but was pleasantly surprised. Harbor tour was also a pleasant, yet educational experience. Plantation tour was an amazing step back in time and history. Our driver was personable and gave us clear instructions. Our day was absolutely perfect, and the only suggestion we would make is to allow 1/2 hour more time to shop in the open air market.

My wife and I really enjoyed the day trip to Charleston. We were higly entertained by Scott on our Horse Drawn Carriage Tour. If you get him for a guide tell him you are from the North, no matter where you are from, you will get extra attention. He is a true Son of the South, and a great kid. The Harbor tour was also very good. If I had to make a change, I would sustitute more time in the city for the Plantation part of the trip, but overall I would recommend it to anyone.

Very enjoyable trip from Myrtle Beach. Bus driver was very pleasant and accommodating. The tour guide on the carriage ride was EXTREMELY knowledgeable--really knew his history. The market was a typical flea market, glad we did not spend too much time there. The harbor cruise was great as was the visit to the Plantation. I would recommend this tour especially since we did not have to drive we could sit back and relax and enjoy the tours.

We enjoyed the trip to Charleston, even though there was some rain at the beginning. We could just sit back and enjoy the scenery and the descriptions about what we were seeing by the very knowledgable driver. The carriage ride about Charleston and the boat ride in the harbor were very relaxing and informative. However, if I had one criticism it would be about not having time to shop at the markets. We really had to rush from the carriage ride to get back on the bus--my companion was using a walker and that made it even harder. Thanks to a physical therapist from Michigan we were able to get back on time. Next trip we'll drive ourselves so we can spend as much time as we want wherever.
