My husband and I booked this tour as we had never been to Charlston. We enjoyed every part of the trip from the comfortable bus trip from Myrtle Beach to the very interesting detailed facts shared on the carriage ride through the charming town. Lunch on the harbour boat ride was delicious! The boat ride gave us a good overview of the area. The plantation was very interesting and had beautiful grounds to enjoy! We would definitely return to this charming city for another enjoyable history lesson and take in the beauty once again. We would have enjoyed a little more time to brouse at the market. We found rushed. Charlston was definitely a high light of our trip to South Carolina. Thank you! |

We were disappointed with the Plantation portion of the tour. There was confusion on the part of the Plantation workers which caused the tour to begin late and then the Plantation tour guide was very abrupt when she was asked questions, basically she said that she couldn't go into detail because the tour started late! We were also hoping to see more of the actual house on the tour and we only saw 3 rooms. The carriage tour guide and boat tour guide were both excellent - making those portions of the excusion memoriable. |

We had a wonderful time. Our bus driver was fun and informative. Loved the carriage ride and the boat trip. Great way to see Charleston for the first time. The only downfall, the plantation house tour was very limited, only 3 rooms in the main house and a few servants quarters. |

We had a group of 6 people ranging from 32-63 and everyone enjoyed the trip. Both of our guides were great. I could have gone without the stop at the market where others in my group wished they'd have had more time. You can't please everyone. I have recommended the Charleston excursion to everyone upon my return. This made our trip out to Myrtle Beach. I wouldn't go back to Myrtle Beach but would return to Charleston and take another tour with them. |

The tour was great and I enjoyed it but it was more structured and on a tighter schedule than I was expecting. I would have enjoyed more time spent on foot through Charleston and touring the inside of buildings. |

Wonderful day trip from Myrtle Beach! The webpage was very detailed so I knew what to expect. The three venues/parts were a nice aspect of the trip; the carriage ride; the boat tour; and the walking tour; We enjoyed the whole day and enjoyed the pace. Also, we enjoyed not having to drive to S.C., We just relaxed on the motorcoach while the driver, David Hess, told us interesting local info and history. This trip gives you a great glimpse of Charleston,S.C. |

I enjoyed my tour to Charleston... My favorite part of the trip was the carriage ride and learning Charleston's very interesting history. I loved our tour guide...she was extremely knowledgeable, not to mention a wonderful personality. I would do it all over again, just take a different route so I could learn more about the city.
I'm amazed with the Gullah women and their beautiful Sweetgrass baskets. |

great solution for a day trip when we were already vacationing in Myrtle Beach. We were able to see much more via this tour than we could have "going it on our own." All our info had told us to look for a yellow bus; however the bus had since been painted and was now white. No big deal, except it made for a bit of confusion when looking for the correct bus to board in the parking lot. Driver needs to forcefully emphasize importance of passengers returning to the bus at appointed times. We almost missed our boat tour because of tardy passengers. Maybe this should be emphasized more in your preliminary information and certainly emphasized by drivers. Overall, good trip enabling us to cover a lot of area while leaving the driving to someone else. |
