| The tour was very organized; the driver (although not the regular one) was very accomodating, clear with his instructions, and knowledgeable. There was no dead time while we waited for connections to the next activity.
For my first time to Charleston this was the way to go. I have a second home in N. Myrtle Beach and am in the area a great deal. Would definitely recommend to others. |

| The trip was well planned and I would definitely recommend it.
However, on e problem was the temperature on the bus for the ride home. It was almost unbearable. |

| This was a nice tour. It would have been more enjoyable if it had not of been so hot. We went in August so that probably played a factor. At first my kids (19 & 13) thought the tour was just going to be "old people"...but there was a mixed age group that attended. The group was small (32) and it was quaint. The bus trip to our first stop was not bad, except when we stopped for a short break (15 min), it turned into 30 minutes and we ended up being a little late for the first part of the tour. When people take a trip like this they should be mindful that they are not the only ones on the trip.
The Boone Plantation tour was nice, but short. We saw two three rooms, and then were free to walk around outside....again very hot! The admission price just for the plantation was $17.50 which to me was a little steep for what you actually got.
The Harbor boat ride was okay, but because it was so hot we were not able to totally enjoy it. We sat in the air conditioned part of the boat which kinda took away from the whole thing.
The best part for all of us was the carriage ride through historic Charleston. We thoroughly enjoyed the ride and the tour guide. Eventhough it was extremely hot, we had a good time.
The shopping in the market area was nice. We saw a lot of interesting items.
Overall it was a good trip. |
