The trip was very interesting, enjoyable and educational. It helped with the trivia questions on the harbor ride. |

My husband and I just sat back and let the tour company do all the work. He never liked guided tours but I convinced him to go. We covered more ground in one day than we ever could ourselves. Now he thinks guided tours are the greatest thing since sliced bread! |

Very well-organized. I could not have driven, found the places and parked for the price of the ticket. No hassle is worth the price of the ticket. Lunch was very good. |

We enjoyed this trip very much. Starting with, Greg, our bus driver for the day was wonderful. He shared his knowledge of the area and suggested different places and things to do during our visit. We actually went to the Pirate Voyage show and to two different restaurants because he recommended them during our stay and were happy we went to them. We liked learning about the Charleston area it is beautiful and full of history. I would recommend this trip to others that are visiting South Carolina. |

The tour guides for each activity were very informative and interactive with the people. The Boone Plantation could have been a little longer to allow you to take it all in.
We all enjoyed it very much |

Everything was really nice. Bus ride was very comfortable. Had a great guide on our carriage ride which lasted approximately 1 hour. Boat ride was also very nice, along with the box lunch. Wished we could have spent more time in Charleston especially in the market. Really enjoyed the plantatation also. Would recommend this trip to others. |

Our driver was wonderful...the trip not so much. The mule drawn carriage ride was very educational and quite enjoyable. Then there was the boat cruise/lunch. The boat was overbooked. Tables were set aside for our group but there were no chairs meaning not only did many of us have to stand for a 2 hour cruise, they had to stand and try to eat a box lunch. But that wasn't a problem for my daughter and myself as we had no lunch. After 45 minutes and 4 times going to the lunch counter, we finally we giving a pizza but no cookie and fruit as was offered the others. The captain kept walking around, apologizing for the lack of seating but that really isn't enough. From there it was off to Boone Plantation which would have been lovely but we were told we missed our tour of the house and would not be able to do so because of time. We also could not take the wagon tour of the plantation as there was not enough time to do that either. Over all, a very disappointing trip and definitely not worth the $120 per person. I tried to call the company from the tour but they did not answer. I was able to leave a message but they have showed no concern at all as they have not responded to my message via phone or e-mail. I would not recommend this tour to anyone. Thank you for asking for my input. |

Our planned trip included 3 stops. The first was the very excellent mule-drawn carriage tour of the Battery area of Historic Charleston. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The next activity was a boat tour of Charleston Harbor. With a boxed lunch in tow, our tour group was supposed to have reserved seating in the enclosed lower deck but discovered there weren't enough seats for all of us. I would have preferred seating on the top deck for better photographs, but it was not possible. The captain gave a very detailed and interesting narration during the cruise that made up for some of the disappointment. The third stop was at Boone Hall Plantation where we arrived very late due to traffic and road construction. We were not able to take the house tour or get on the tram, but the weather was beautiful and the scenery splendid. After making a phone call and sending an e-mail to Charleston Harbor Tours about our experience at Boone Hall Plantation, a partial refund was issued to us. CHT was responsive, polite and understanding. A good company to deal with. Pick a different time of year to go; apparently Easter week is one of the busiest for the Charleston area. |

This was a nice trip. The lunch was good and I felt like I got to see a lot. More time in the market like an hour, would have been nice. |

It has been a long time that I wanted to visit a real Plantation and this trip satisfied the need. I have always been intrigued by this time of history and i am glad I finally got the opportunity. The bus ride went quickly and then we arrived in Charlston for our carriage ride. The guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun and informative. Next off to the market. Followed by a trip to the water for a boat ride. Again the captain was very knowledgeable and made the trip alot of fun. Lunch wa absolutely delicious. Back on the bus and over to the Boone Plantation. Loved my experience and glad I booked this tour with you! |
