We had a great trip. Loved the carriage ride and boat trip. Boone Plantation was interesting but not the highlight. Maybe because it was the last thing and we were a little tired. Bus driver was very helpful and friendly. |

The day started with a pleasant greeting by the bus driver/tour guide on the way from Myrtle Beach to Charleston. The carriage ride was excellent. The harbor tour was filled with interesting highlights of the local history. |

This was our third Charleston day tour and we've always enjoyed it. Just make sure the Boone Plantation tour is first and the carriage ride last. On our trip, the carriage ride was first and because of the time constraints, we only had 25 minutes to go through the open market. From what we understand, there was a change for our day. Bummer! There was so much to see and no time to shop. Other than that, this is a wonderful trip to take. |

We enjoyed our day very much - however, I do have several suggestions to make regarding the outing.
We spent two hours going from Myrtle Beach to Charleston - passed some interesting sights but no word from the tour person on our bus about any of them - we were from Canada and would have liked some information regarding the sights we were seeing. The Carriage tour was excellent and we saw lots of interesting homes. We did not, and I must say it again, did not have enough time at the market.
We were too rushed there as there was a lot to see. The harbour crruise and lunch were execellent - the folks on the boat were helpful and we learned lots about the harbour and everything - I am a history buff so enjoyed all the information on Fort Sumter and the start of the Civil War - told by a proud Southerner! Boon Hall was interesting and the guides there were excellent - we had lots of time to tour the grounds and found them very interesting. So all in all it was a good tour - however, as I said before - not nearly enough market time. However, I would recommend this tour to any friends that may holiday in Myrtle Beach as it was an exdellent way to get to see some of Charleston without having to drive there ourselves. |

The tour was well organized. The driver very friendly and helpful when asked a question. The buggy ride was very good, the driver had a lot of information on the different areas, historical homes, sites and also other interesting stories about the area. The boat tour of the harbor and Fort Sumter was quite enjoyable and the lunch was quite nice. The boat Captain was very informative about history of Charlseton, the harbor, Fort Sumter and the areas surrounding the harbor. The visit to Boone Hall Plantation was very nice, the tourguide was very informative on the history of the plantation and also the the number of television shows and movies that were shot there. The flower gardens around the plantation were very pretty. My husband and I had orginaly planned to drive to Charleston and do our own tour, we probably would only have done half of what the tour included, and most likely would not have gone to a plantation. My husband and I would highly recommend this tour, infact we already told friends of ours we visited in the Carolinas. |

Considering what was involved, a bus trip, a carriage tour of old Charleston, a boat tour of Charleston harbor and a plantation tour the experience was certainly worth the price. The plantation was a little disappointing, having been built in 1938, but outside of that, the remainder was of interest. The guides were knowledgeable. The lunch provided was better than expected both in terms of quantity and quality. |

The tour was very organized; the driver (although not the regular one) was very accomodating, clear with his instructions, and knowledgeable. There was no dead time while we waited for connections to the next activity.
For my first time to Charleston this was the way to go. I have a second home in N. Myrtle Beach and am in the area a great deal. Would definitely recommend to others. |
