Our bus driver Dave was great. He explained a lot of history & pointed out many things to see along the way. From the time we got on the carriage ride to the last stop at the plantation we where kept busy & imformed. The lunch on the boat was very good & plentiful. Thanks for a great day! |

This is a great relaxed trip for those not in a hurry. The carriage ride was especially a good part of the tour for those who want to have a guided view of the city at a leisure pace. |

The relaxing and varied pace on bus, boat, and carriage offers a very full day in a unique city. It would be impossible without the guides (and the relaxing rides) to learn as much on your own. The tour guides on the bus, boat, and carriage are outstanding -offer as much or as little as a crowd requests. The basic details and history taught are good reasons to choose a return visit (or more) with a focus - or longer stay- of choice! I would like to see the interior of many sites, enjoy the beaches and forts, and walk more in the areas seen.
I live in New England and seldom shop extensively when I travel; but would choose to return to this walkable city and the Farmer's market. Local vendors are very talented and worthy of a longer chance to explain their work - With a real rushing through, I still had time enough to spend well on certain items by crafters of the region, though! |

Our driver engaged in some interesting dialogue as we made our way from Myrtle Beach to Charleston. He was pleasant and helpful. The tour appeared to be on schedule from start to finish, and I would have liked more time to browse the market, or stop for photos along the way, during the carriage ride. The harbour cruise was great, and we were pleasantly surprised with our deliciously fresh box lunch. Overall, I rate this an 8, and recommend this tour. |

I enjoyed the day. We had lots of variety and information on the places visited. I would like to have been able to spend more time at the Plantation. We heard there was an informative video presentation in one of the slave houses but our bus was leaving before it started. I was disappointed that we had to miss this.
The bus driver was very knowledgeable and entertaining.
I would recommend this trip to others. |

We loved the trip our only suggestion would be to add an additional 1.5 hours in the historical part of Charleston for free time to explore the streets and market on your own. This could be either after the buggy ride or after the boat cruise depending on scheduling. This tour was recommeded to me by a fellow Canadian who took the tour a few years ago, she also said the only thing she would have liked was more free time to do some walking.
I would recommend this tour to my friends. |

We did not feel that enough time was provided after carriage tour for the city market and to browse through the town. The harbor tour was about right. More time was needed at the Boone Plantation. We would have enjoyed taking the wagon tour to see more of the plantation and just walk around. We realize that possibly another hour would have to be tacted on. What we saw was very interesting and we did enjoy the day. |

It was amazing to see how much the tour organizers packed in the 10-hours trip. Everything was co-ordinated to the minute - no waiting times at all. All guides were pleasant, knowlegeable and courteous.
It was a treat (including the cookie in the lunch box ) Special thanks to Dave - our Tour Guide/Bus Driver - he sure is enthusiastic in what he is doing. Thanks. |
