It was amazing to see how much the tour organizers packed in the 10-hours trip. Everything was co-ordinated to the minute - no waiting times at all. All guides were pleasant, knowlegeable and courteous.
It was a treat (including the cookie in the lunch box ) Special thanks to Dave - our Tour Guide/Bus Driver - he sure is enthusiastic in what he is doing. Thanks. |

We loved our tour of Charleston with our guide/driver Dave. Everything was timed perfectly and, having never been to Charleston before, we came away feeling as though we got a good first look and wanting to come back again. Our carriage driver was knowledgeable and funny, the boat trip was very interesting and informative, and as Dave says, do NOT give the captain your cookie -- it's too good!! Enjoyed the plantation tour also -- what a place!!
We always read reviews before we jump into something for the first time. I hope this review helps people know that this is definitely a trip worth taking!! |

My friends and I took the Tour to Charleston from MB, SC, and had a wonderful time. The bus driver provided a bit of history while driving there, the carriage tour took us through some interesting points of interest. On the boat, we were provided with a boxed lunch that far exceeded our expectation... it was great. The staff on the boat were friendly, and we learned some interesting facts. From there, we were taken to the Boone Plantation. Beautiful home, but quite an eye opener when you visit the home where the slaves lived, and read about all they had endured. I would recommend this trip to all who are thinking of taking it. |

My husband and I went to South Carolina for the first time. We decided to take the tour of Charleston and really enjoyed it very much. The driver of the bus was quite knowledgeable, was a very good driver and very friendly.
The driver of the horse and buggy ride was very knowledgeable of the history of Charleston. He also was very friendly, easy to talk to and took the time to answer any and all questions.
The boat tour was also very good. Once again our tour guide knew his history very well of the area.
The guide at Boone Plantation was very good as well. I found this to be a very interesting tour.
Overall I would recommend it to anyone who wanted to experience the history of the area. |

We had no time to shop in the market. Carriage tour ended 15 minutes before we were due at the bus. We were not asked about our choice for lunch and we had no choice. They ran out of the ham sandwiches which the 4 of us would have prefered. I do not eat whole wheat or oat products only white bread and that was not a choice either. That aspect of the trip was not a plus. |

Day in Charleston

Although I did enjoy it, I much preferred a one day trip I took a few years back. The group was smaller and we were in a van. There was a guide on board and he was very informative. We also had a very good lunch in a restaurant in Charleston and had much more time to browse the flea market. I didn't really care for the boat ride or their lunch. It was adequate. The carriage ride was okay, but even though it was a beautiful day, we didn't walk on the embankment like we did in my previous trip. My husband had never been to Charleston, so it was okay for him. I would have preferred a lunch and longer time at the flea market and some walking around Charleston. |

Enjoyed the tours very much. Horse and buggy driver extremely knowledgeable. Shopping time too short. This just gave us a desire to spend more time in a fantastic city. I misplaced my camera in a cafe. The boat captain and crew located it for me and the Cafe Paradisio had it delivered to the dock so it was waiting for me when I got off the boat tour. Talk about southern hospitality! |

Absolutely fantastic way to see the highlights of Charlestown and throw in the Boone's Plantation as a bonus! Box lunch was far superior to any other we've had! Our bus driver was a super-nice, friendly person, too! |

I was very disappointed in your Sunway Tour Service. On previous tours, We
stopped on the way to Charleston at the Hall Plantation and had a chance to
see all the sites, and tour the main house. Then went on to Charleston for the
Boat ride to Fort Sumter, and lunch. Next had plenty of time for the Carriage
ride around the cities older historic homes. Our final stop was to the Slave
Market with plenty of time for shopping for Souvenirs. I did not have time to
even look for souvenirs in the barely 30 minutes to get back to the bus. I
feel like my money was really wasted and will surely look for other Tour
Services the next time.
I wished I had been better informed before choosing SUNWAY |
