We didn't want the drive from N Myrtle Beach to Charleston, so we decided to do the tour. It was a very pleasant day - we could not have done all of this on our own. Nicely put together, very nice driver, nice box lunch, enjoyed the carriage ride, harbor tour and tour of Boone Plantation. Timimg was perfect at each stop, and we got back around 5 PM. I would highly recommend. |

The trip may be a nice experience for people who have not done it before, however,
we found the trip a bit rushed and trying to cover too many activities in one day.
The bus driver on the day we went was not very personable as you would expect in this type of job. He was much to "busness like." We wanted to stop for coffee due to the early morning hour and he would not. It would have taken 10 minutes to go into McDonald's and out again. Previous bus trip drivers did that. He asked if we would like to see a Dean Martin DVD or take a nap. Most people answered "take a nap" and he played it anyway, stopping to put in another disc after that one.
Not enough time at the open air market in Charleston. Not everyone wants to do the boat ride. Lunch aboard the boat was awful. Would much rather preffered staying in the city longer in order to take pictures while walking (carriage ride too bumpy for picture taking.)
Would have prefered to have lunch at a restaurant in Charleston and skipped the boat ride. Boone Hall visit was great!
Would give the trip a C+ |

My husband & I were visiting Myrtle Beach for a vacation, and we had planned on driving to Charleston, but then we saw the ad for your day trip. We decided to give it a try and it was a wonderful day. My husband got to enjoy the scenery on the drive there and back instead of driving as usual. Our bus driver was very charming abd friendly. The horse drawn carriage was there waiting for us when we arrived, and it was a lovely ride. Our carriage driver was very interesting and had a wonderful sense of humor, adding an extra bonus to the trip. The market was fun to explore and we even had a little time to walk about the side streets before we headed to the boat for our harbor tour. The boxed lunch was delicious, but the only down side was that the boat was already crowded when we boarded, so we did not get very good seats, but we could move about. We just couldn't see what the tour guide was talking about when he was talking about it, but we could figure it out. The plantation tour was also very interesting, we could have used about 30 minutes more at the plantation, but we saw the most important things. The bus driver provided some Dean Martin Variety Hour DVDs for the ride home, which was quite entertaining. All in all, I'd say the tour was well worth the money and a great time was had by all! |

It was a very interesting tour of Charleston, especially at our age it helped to be able to see the city and not have to walk. Scott the young man who was our guide was very interesting and knew his information also presented it in a fun way.
The boat ride and lunch was beyond our expectation. The Plantation tour was very good and the grounds were beautiful.
We come to Myrtle Beach each year with family and have been to Charleston before but never did a tour this is definite the way to do it.
The only disappointing part was the lack of shopping time, would have like to had more time to shop. |

This bus tour of Charleston, from Myrtle Beach, was excellent! Don't hesitate to book your tour with Zerve. Our bus driver, Dave, was well-informed and pleasant. He helped make our first visit to Charleston memorable. The horse drawn carriage tour of the town provided us with an excellent guide ( Emily ) . The boat tour of the harbour was superb. Viewing Boone Plantation was incredible. We will do it again next year... |

From beginning to end the whole day was delightful. We would have never been able to do it on our own in such a stress free way enjoying so many of Charleston's attractions. |

Driver friendly and courteous
Tour Guides knowledgable and entertaining
Although the tour was an all day event, the day passed so quickly that we were disappointed that it was over so soon. |

My wife and I enjoyed all four areas of the trip. The boat tour was especially nice. I am not usually much of a fan of box lunches but this trips lunch was an exception. It was wonderful, fresh and the cookie was "to die for". The driver was very good about giving directions and being prompt. I thought twice about spending $100 @ but it was well worth the money. |

Our tour of Charleston was very nice. Our bus driver was quite informative and the ride was very pleasant. The bus was neat and clean.
We really enjoyed the carriage ride and the operator was well schooled in the history of Charleston. My husband enjoyed the Harbor Boat ride the best.
The stop at Boone Plantation was interesting and the property beautiful. The woven baskets were much more affordable there than in the Market.
I would recommend a handout of some kind that provides an outline of the day that one could keep as a memento. |
