| If you are a minority beware of this trip!!!!
I was looking forward to this trip. I researched it well ahead of time and booked early. I literally cancelled another trip to attend this trip. However, I, as well as my family members felt discriminated against on this trip. We were the only minorities on this trip and we felt the resentment from the start. As the trip progressed, it seemed to get worst.
Some of the discomfort was not the fault of the driver; however, non minorities were very segregated from minorities. The driver spoke fast and seemed to direct most of the conversation to the people in the front of the carriage, not the back of the carriage.
I was a little disappointed with the plantation tour; not enough history or information provided. However, I was pleased with the timeframe allotted to allow us to walk around and view history.
I will not recommend this tour to any of my minority family members or friends!
Very disappointed!!!!!
I was very surprised I saw no minorities driving any of the carriages. |

| We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The bus driver Dave was great - couldn't have been nicer. On the way home he played a comedy DVD which helped to pass the time. He gave us an excellent background on the Myrtle Beach area.
The horse and carriage ride was a wonderful way to see the beautiful city of Charleston. Only problem is that hard to take photos while moving. Much information was being given to us very quickly and it is difficult to take it all in.
We had about an hour to shop at the market -- there were sweet grass baskets being made. Other than that most of the merchandise was flea market type stuff.
The harbor cruise gave us a different perspective of Charleston -- we had beautiful weather and also enjoyed this. The box lunch was very nice, even my picky husband liked it.
The Boone Hall Plantation was also lovely -- the oak lined drive in was gorgeous and the gardens very colorful. The local guide was dressed in costume which added to the fun.
Feel we saw a lot in a day. |

| Thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. The carriage tour was great, the tour guides were very knowledgeable and the architecture was fantastic. The open air market was fair (but not my interest). The boat was a great tour with lots to see. Pleasingly surprised by the fresh lunch. We also saw the tall ship "Gunilla" that visited the harbor. The Captain was also very knowledgeable. The "Avenue of the Oaks" at Boone Plantation was breathtaking. The plantation home and the gardens were remarkable. Our ride on the Sunway Tour Bus was very relaxing. Dave, our driver, introduced us to the area as we rode from Myrtle Beach to Charleston. He was great - very friendly and very patient as we ended up in a big traffic jam in Georgetown due to construction (or destruction of railroad track). All in all it was a very memorable day and will recommend it to friends. |

| I think the trip could have allowed more time for shopping and also maybe eating at one of the restaurants in Charleston instead oif a box lunch. All in all it was a memorable trip. Thank you |

| I enjoyed the horse and buggy tour and found my driver very informative. We did not have enough time in the town of Charleston. We had to basically run through the market, and never got to walk around the town.
The boat ride was fine. The lunch was good.
I did not enjoy the plantation. We got to see 3 rooms in the mansion and that was basically it. We walked around and visited the butterfly part. We bought a drink and just wasted time.
I say, nix the plantation and let people spend more time in Charleston. It is a beautiful city and we did not get enough time there. |

| The bus trip was comfortable and our driver knowledgeable. We enjoyed every aspect of the day. The different segments were spaced just right so we could enjoy each leg of the trip. The box lunch we received on the boat ride was fresh and delicious. We had just the right amount of time at the open air market and the plantation. I would recommend this trip to others. |

| We took the tour in mid April, love everything about the tour except the Boone Hall Plantation, mix up our time of being there and so we really did not get much of a tour at the plantation. The most enjoyable tour was the carriage tour in Charleston, Sherry , our guide was the best in Charleston knowledge and history. |
