You'll climb aboard the Carolina Bell for a Charleston Harbor Tour - the longest running harbor tour company in Charleston, serving her guests since 1908. Enjoy a scenic journey to one of America's greatest historic treasures – Charleston, South Carolina, for a day of touring and sightseeing!
From our convenient meeting locations in Savannah and the Hilton Head area, you'll begin the scenic two-hour trip to Charleston on our comfortable, air-conditioned motorcoach. Once in the Charleston area, your all-day adventure includes:
- Classic Carriage Tour: Hop on a horse-drawn carriage for an historic old city tour. With a professional tour guide who is certain to entertain and inform you, you’ll relish in magnificent homes and gardens and Charleston’s way of life, past and present.
- Harbor Boat Tour: Board the Carolina Belle for a 90-minute, non-stop “Harbor of History Tour” live-narrated by the Captain. You’ll experience 75 points of interest including Ft. Sumter, the USS Yorktown and the Battery while delighting in a delicious Deli-Style Boxed Lunch.
- Magnolia Plantation: Tour this famous plantation home and gardens founded in 1679 by the Drayton family and now the oldest public gardens in the country. You will also have time to visit the plantation Gift Shop located on the ground floor of the main house which offers a wide assortment of gifts, and sculpture by local artists and craftsmen emphasizing Lowcountry subjects.
What Is Not Included?
Any souvenirs or other items that you would like to purchase at the Plantation gift shop, or any other stop along the tour, are not included in the tour price. You can also purchase snacks aboard the Carolina Belle or at Magnolia Plantation.If you would like to purchase anything during the trip, please bring cash with you.
