| We didn't want the drive from N Myrtle Beach to Charleston, so we decided to do the tour. It was a very pleasant day - we could not have done all of this on our own. Nicely put together, very nice driver, nice box lunch, enjoyed the carriage ride, harbor tour and tour of Boone Plantation. Timimg was perfect at each stop, and we got back around 5 PM. I would highly recommend. | ||||||

| The trip may be a nice experience for people who have not done it before, however, we found the trip a bit rushed and trying to cover too many activities in one day. The bus driver on the day we went was not very personable as you would expect in this type of job. He was much to "busness like." We wanted to stop for coffee due to the early morning hour and he would not. It would have taken 10 minutes to go into McDonald's and out again. Previous bus trip drivers did that. He asked if we would like to see a Dean Martin DVD or take a nap. Most people answered "take a nap" and he played it anyway, stopping to put in another disc after that one. Not enough time at the open air market in Charleston. Not everyone wants to do the boat ride. Lunch aboard the boat was awful. Would much rather preffered staying in the city longer in order to take pictures while walking (carriage ride too bumpy for picture taking.) Would have prefered to have lunch at a restaurant in Charleston and skipped the boat ride. Boone Hall visit was great! Would give the trip a C+ | ||||||

| My husband & I were visiting Myrtle Beach for a vacation, and we had planned on driving to Charleston, but then we saw the ad for your day trip. We decided to give it a try and it was a wonderful day. My husband got to enjoy the scenery on the drive there and back instead of driving as usual. Our bus driver was very charming abd friendly. The horse drawn carriage was there waiting for us when we arrived, and it was a lovely ride. Our carriage driver was very interesting and had a wonderful sense of humor, adding an extra bonus to the trip. The market was fun to explore and we even had a little time to walk about the side streets before we headed to the boat for our harbor tour. The boxed lunch was delicious, but the only down side was that the boat was already crowded when we boarded, so we did not get very good seats, but we could move about. We just couldn't see what the tour guide was talking about when he was talking about it, but we could figure it out. The plantation tour was also very interesting, we could have used about 30 minutes more at the plantation, but we saw the most important things. The bus driver provided some Dean Martin Variety Hour DVDs for the ride home, which was quite entertaining. All in all, I'd say the tour was well worth the money and a great time was had by all! | ||||||

| I recommend to tour to everyone. My friends and I had a wonderful time and enjoyed the whole experience. If you have never been to Charleston, SC before and want a taste of what it has to offer, this tour is for you. However, there are a lot of events scheduled for one day and time is a factor so if you want more time to look at everything, I would suggest traveling yourself. The tour itself is great but time is a factor. | ||||||

| It was a very interesting tour of Charleston, especially at our age it helped to be able to see the city and not have to walk. Scott the young man who was our guide was very interesting and knew his information also presented it in a fun way. The boat ride and lunch was beyond our expectation. The Plantation tour was very good and the grounds were beautiful. We come to Myrtle Beach each year with family and have been to Charleston before but never did a tour this is definite the way to do it. The only disappointing part was the lack of shopping time, would have like to had more time to shop. | ||||||

| I didn't care so much for the centeralized location for pickup, because we were in Surfside. I think if you have a North pickup and a South location pickup you may draw more . there was 17 on our bus trip which is a nice size for tours, there was 7 in our group and we were always together, never seperated, so I enjoyed that. We were treated very well on the whole tour and I would do again. I just wished we had a longer time to shop the market, 35 minutes didn't give us time to shop after waiting in lines in the bathroom and stopping for drinks. But if I was more informed as to what we were having on the boat trip, we would not had to stop for drinks. Oh by the way, that was a very informative, and Scott was very good on the City Tour, too. Overall I would suggest the Bus trip as the way to go. Thank you for a wonderful trip. I have made 2 trips previously to Charleston but I have admit this is the best way to go there. Thank You again. Plus maybe you could leave Mytrle Beach a half hour early to give more shopping time. Just a suggestion. | ||||||

| The ride there and back was in a nice bus, but, a two hour ride could have used the monitors on board for promoting your company or showing other tourist things to do in the Myrtle Beach or Charleston areas. You could sell this time to local companies promoting time shares or other such things. More time for shopping, and at Boone Hall. | ||||||

| Absolutely fantastic job with this tour. Everything went like clockwork and the folks were very friendly and enthusiastic. We tell others how much we did on our trip and they are amazed that it was done all in one day. From the moment we stepped on to the bus, we were welcomed and treated very well. I strongly recommend this method for seeing Charleston!!! | ||||||

| This trip was a great way to fit some time into a beach vacation for history on the area. When we travel we always try to learn something! This package was fun and educational. Our bus driver, Dave, was a great guide on trip from Myrtle Beach and was very informative. We enjoyed his commentary and information. | ||||||

Charleston in the rain

| I felt that the current tour had too many activities and not enough time to really enjoy each fully. I had been on the tour before and had really enjoyed Charleston itself. We had opportunities to walk around some, eat in a nice restaurant, and do a little shopping. This tour, although it rained the full time, in the carriage seemed rushed. We did not see all of the sites such as the university, or the rainbow row. I would not bother with the tour of the harbour again, as you never left the ship to properly sight see. The luch was good, and they did a nice job with the tour, but I think the old way that it was done was actually better and a little cheaper, because you chose where you would like to go. The Boone plantation was great as usual. | ||||||

| I quite enjoyed this tour, however, we were scheduled for the day before and the tour was cancelled and we were not notified. We were at the meeting place at 7:00 a.m. which made us rise at 5:30 a.m. Not a good time when you are vacation and the trip is cancelled. After many phone calls, I was told I was cancelled on my cell phone, which was not on because of roaming charges that I would be billed. So for 2 days in a row we were to wake up at 5:30 a.m. The staff member was not the least apologetic and offered us nothing for our inconvenience. | ||||||

| This bus tour of Charleston, from Myrtle Beach, was excellent! Don't hesitate to book your tour with Zerve. Our bus driver, Dave, was well-informed and pleasant. He helped make our first visit to Charleston memorable. The horse drawn carriage tour of the town provided us with an excellent guide ( Emily ) . The boat tour of the harbour was superb. Viewing Boone Plantation was incredible. We will do it again next year... | ||||||
