Great Day

| Thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. The carriage tour was great, the tour guides were very knowledgeable and the architecture was fantastic. The open air market was fair (but not my interest). The boat was a great tour with lots to see. Pleasingly surprised by the fresh lunch. We also saw the tall ship "Gunilla" that visited the harbor. The Captain was also very knowledgeable. The "Avenue of the Oaks" at Boone Plantation was breathtaking. The plantation home and the gardens were remarkable. Our ride on the Sunway Tour Bus was very relaxing. Dave, our driver, introduced us to the area as we rode from Myrtle Beach to Charleston. He was great - very friendly and very patient as we ended up in a big traffic jam in Georgetown due to construction (or destruction of railroad track). All in all it was a very memorable day and will recommend it to friends. | ||||||

| From beginning to end the whole day was delightful. We would have never been able to do it on our own in such a stress free way enjoying so many of Charleston's attractions. | ||||||

| The horse and buggy ride was such a nice way to learn the history of Charleston, The harbour tour was also a wonderful way to observe the city from a different view. Dolphins and history a plenty. The deli lunch was excellent. Boone Hall was enjoyable and friendly people every where. I would like to go again and bring some friends. | ||||||

| excellent trip. Went last March (2008) - loved it - returned this March and took another couple with us. Bus ride excellent - driver capable and friendly. Carriage ride in Charleston wonderful - driver intelligent and informed - made trip both enjoyable and informative. Boat ride great! Little wind, warm and sunny - hard to ask for more. Crew helpful and meal improved over last year (2008). Boone plantation - always a treat to visit and explore - as mentioned above, plan to "do" the trip again next year, will bring family with us. Overall - would rate the whole package as A+ As the old saying goes "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" - so keep up the good work! John Mathews Ottawa Canada | ||||||

| It was a wonderful day but it needed to be warmer. The sun didn't come out until the afternoon. There were three of us and each of us picked a different thing they liked the best. The boxed lunch on the boat was very satisfying and delicious especially the cookie. I thought a bit more time was needed at the market but we needed to get to the boat for our next stage of our trip. We were fortunate to see many dolphins on the boat trip which was a thrill for all. | ||||||

| Would have enjoyed more time in the city. Had some concerns about the bus driver. He was very nice but made us a litle nervous. He ran several yellow lights and one red light. Was snacking quite abit and was on his cell phone w/ several obvious personal calls. | ||||||

| My first time visiting Charleston. From getting on the bus at 7:15am to getting back at 5:30pm the whole trip was just great. Driver was very good. Hit all the tour sites right on time. Tour guides were very knowledgeable. Met several people on bus that were very nice. In fact met one couple for breakfast two days later.Sites were great. Will go back in future. | ||||||

| My wife and I enjoyed all four areas of the trip. The boat tour was especially nice. I am not usually much of a fan of box lunches but this trips lunch was an exception. It was wonderful, fresh and the cookie was "to die for". The driver was very good about giving directions and being prompt. I thought twice about spending $100 @ but it was well worth the money. | ||||||

A Day in Charleston

| Our tour of Charleston was very nice. Our bus driver was quite informative and the ride was very pleasant. The bus was neat and clean. We really enjoyed the carriage ride and the operator was well schooled in the history of Charleston. My husband enjoyed the Harbor Boat ride the best. The stop at Boone Plantation was interesting and the property beautiful. The woven baskets were much more affordable there than in the Market. I would recommend a handout of some kind that provides an outline of the day that one could keep as a memento. | ||||||

| A great trip to Charleston from Myrtle Beach... time to catch up on lost sleep from early morning start Carriage tour through historic downtown Charleston very informative and enjoyable but cold ...blankets to cover up from the cold would be appreciated Time to shop in the historic slave markets was good...sweet grass baskets very expensive...save your money for Boon hall plantation Boat tour in the harbour... very enjoyable Suggest that the people who do the boat tour take a carriage tour so that information is not repetitive... I know that they do the tour for everyone not just those of us who have just been on the carriage but they could expand on information instead of repeating it. Boon hall also very enjoyable and informative..buy your baskets here...hint A quiet trip back to Myrtle Beach just in time to go out to dinner | ||||||
