| I loved this food tour! I have been to Chicago many times and my mom who lives in Chicago went on the tour with us. Everything we saw was new to us and very exciting. The tastings were delicious and even more than we expected. Our tour guide Jen was enthusiastic and excited about our day. The people who worked in the shops we visited were very helpful. We had so much fun and we can't wait to go on the wicker park tour. The only negative was it was a lot of walking and a little difficult for my mom. That didn't take away from our enjoyment though. We really liked all the little facts that Jen told us about the nieghborhoods and we loved looking at the homes we passed. The stuffed pizza was the best I've tasted. It was a very cold day but we had so much fun we didn't even notice. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys checking out different little shops and enjoys food! |

| I would recommend this to anyone I am 21 and went with one of my friends who is also my age we were the youngest in the group it was all woman on this tour but I would definitely recommend this tour to males as well. People who say you do not get to sample and eat enough are greedy. I would recommend eating a light breakfast if you are a big eater in the morning. I love to eat and so does my friend and can eat a lot ha but this was enough food and we did not even eat a breakfast before we went. But you get a potato pancake, sample cheeses, the best slice of pizza I have ever eaten, chocolate samples from two different chocolate places and a entire cup of tea.
You can sample spices and oils and smell them to see if you are interested in buying them the spices are amazing and very cheap and I do not even like to cook and I purchased quite a few. If you enjoy cooking definitely check out the spice house. Along with this tour you get 15% off coupons for most of the places you visit for what you want to go back and purchase. This is a guided tour so you also get history about the city and homes that you pass that is interesting. You also go past the original playboy mansion. Jennifer our tour guide was very nice and knew a lot of information about the city, had a lot of energy and a good personality! I would probably check out the other tour they offer if I come back to Chicago and if I come back with other family and friends I will take them on this same tour that I already did as well. Definitely worth the money. |

| My husband and I LOVED this tour. We had a great tour guide named Kate and she was very knowledgeable about Chicago food and architecture and she made everyone feel welcome on the tour. We had so much fun learning about these one-of-a-kind food spots in Chicago. We've already told many friends and family about it and have recommended it to all of them. This tour is a great way to spend a few hours in Chicago, learn about the city and have some yummy food! |

| I am probably in a minority in finding comments on local real estate values and details about houses and buildings owned by wealthy people, to be inappropriate for a tasting tour. I would prefer more food stops or talk, less housing talk. I did appreciate that talk in stores focuse on facts about food - origin, myth busting, etc.
It was a nice walk, despite a kind of dreary day. |

| The walking tour was a great way to see some of the architecture of Chicago while visiting interesting food shops and walking some streets I had never been on. Our guide, Kate, was well informed on the food products we tasted. She also shared interesting historical facts on the neighborhoods we walked through. We are from out of state so enjoyed learning about new areas to visit and places to shop in Old Town and Lincoln Park. The next day we revisited many of the stores to purchase the teas, oils and chocolates. i would recommend this tour to visitors and locals alike. |

| We started out our tour in a sprinkling of rain which shortly let up and we just kept on trucking through the sidewalks of Chicago. I enjoyed the food part, the cultural part and our tour leaders knowledge. We spread the news of our tour to our bus group and I feel some of them will be there next year when we come to town again. We plan on taking the Bucktown tour then ourselves. |

| I had a great time on the tour. The tour guide was wonderful, pleasant, informative.
The locations chosen were nice, and walking through the neighborhoods with commentary about history and architecture added a lot. I went back to 3 of the stores after the tour to make purchases.
The only negative was the Ashkenaz deli. The latkas were awful. They were very greasy, not crispy. Not like a good latke should be. For people on the tour who have never eaten one, this was a poor example of a latke.
Thanks. |

| This is the second food walking tour I've taken. It's a great way to learn about neighborhoods in depth, really see them up close. By the end of the tour you're saturated with information about what's going on in the city -- with regard to food and other things. I really like and appreciate that the tastings are generous; they're not just leftovers or crumbs. We went back and made purchases at several of the stores using our coupons. Thanks for helping us discover the foodie side of Chicago! |
