| Our guide, Ariela, was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Knew so much about her great city - more than just a job. This is a must do in Chicago, not just for the food but the information about the neighborhoods, architecture and what to do while you're there. Do this early on in your trip so you can go back and visit the neighborhoods and restaurants! |

| Our tour guide, Jessie, was very personable and knowledgeable. On some tours, I find myself checking my watch hoping that it is over - time flew by on this day and I never looked at my watch.
I would have to say my favorites were the reuben (we went back the next day for another) and the oil shop. My least favorite was Catering - Chocolate ~ it didn't seem to fit with everything else.
I would definitely recommend it to friends and look forward to visiting again and going on the other tour.
Thank you for a great day! |

| Jennifer who did our tour was so engaging, enthusiastic, and totally committed to the group to have a great experience. The stops were great and I learned so much, but the best part for me was really seeing and learning about the neighborhoods. It helped that we had terrific weather! But the background, knowledge, and experience she had really helped her presentation of all information. Thank goodness the shop owners encourage this type of thing, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone either local to Chicago or from another area.
My son would now like to move to Chicago since he experienced these nice neighborhoods outside of downtown!

| Our tour with the fabulous Jennifer was the highlight (except for seeing my bucket list, Seurat) of my first trip to Chicago. Fun and so much more informative than the double decker tours! THIS IS A MUST and as for the food.. WOW! Worth a trip from Florida, alone! |

| I live in the suburbs of Chicago and when my brother came to visit from California, I looked for activities that I thought he and I would like. We were extremely pleased with the tour. Our favorite stops were the oil and vinegar shop and the tea shop, mainly because we learned something at both shops. I will revisit these stores. We also enjoyed walking in the three different neighborhoods. But mostly the tour ended up being so enjoyable because of our tour guide. She was very friendly and made everyone feel at ease. |

| This tour provided an excellent mix of interactive tastings, foot bound movement through local neighborhoods, relevant and interesting information, and notable information about the city's history. There is a good variety of types of food related venues and they make them all at least somewhat interesting. The food itself is pretty dang good and you get special discounts and coupons. |

| The tour leader for the 11:30am tour was wonderful, happy and informative. Each of the businesses from the Jewish Deli, the Spice shop(with explaination of spices and their useful life), the tea shop was informative, choclate shope was great, and the Pizza was wonderful as a last stop. The explaination of the buildings along the tour was fun and interesting. I highly recomend it. |

| Our group ranged in age from 25 to 55, and we all enjoyed this amazing adventure. Our guide, Jennifer, was wonderful She guided us through the history, architecture and culture of these beautiful neighborhoods. The food tasting stops along the way were the frosting on the cake. We enjoyed it all. We will definitely do the other neighborhood food tasting tour offered by Chicago Food Planet, Inc. |

| Our group of 11 (in town from Calgary, Canada to run the Chicago Marathon) was thrilled with our experience on this tour, which far exceeded any of our expectations.
Our tour guide (Jenn) was warm, personable, knowledgeable and thorough as she walked us through the lovely streets of Chicago, regaling us with stories and folklore, history and architectural information, and even local gossip. The unique shops were fantastic and the tastings scrumptious – a food lover’s delight.
What a truly wonderful way to spend a day and see a side of Chicago many tourists don’t bother to explore. We all retraced our steps at tour's end to buy from the independent, family-owned shops that we visited. This tour was a highlight of our trip – not to be missed! |

| I took a group of 4 young women from my church group on the Near North Side Walking Tour. Our tour was on Oct. 11, 2009.
Although we all live in the South Suburbs of Chicago...none of us have been to these spots.
Everyone really enjoyed the tour. There was just enough time between walking and 'seeing'. The places we visited were great. There was only one thing that the ladies wanted, and that was to have time to shop! I'm not sure that this tour would make that possible however, maybe you could have a tour with less places and more shopping. At the Spice Shop they said that they would have rather looked at the spices more and not had the talk about cinnamon. But there were also some that felt that they learned a lot from the talk...so it is a draw. Our tour guide Kent was really good. He was considerate of the entire group, some were older than others! He also had quite a bit of knowledge of the stores and landmarks that we came in contact with. He spoke clearly and loud enough that we could all hear him. I will be taking our group on this tour again in the Spring.
I would suggest doing this type of thing in other neighborhoods as well! Great Job.
