| I grew up in Chicago and signed up for the Food Tour to please my wife. It was rainy, and a lot of walking, but our guide Nicki made it a throughly enjoyable experience of new places in Chicago and new eateries.
We hope the Chicago Food Planet will offer other neighborhood food tours, for our next visit to the Windy City from the South. We highly recommend the Norht Side tour we experienced, and commend our guide for her knowledge and good care of us. |

| Our tour guide knew what she was talking about. She was experienced in her area having been a tour guide for 5+ years in Italy. She knew so much about Chicago and was able to share it with us. She was very personable and made me and my wife feel as if we were the only ones on the tour. I learned so much from her about Chicago and about the places that we stopped at on our tour. The foods were amazing but the entertainment was even better. At the end of the tour we mixed up our directions and ending up following the rest of the group to there stop when we need to go in the other directions. Our tour guidw was nice enough to take us in her car to catch the "L". She said she was going in that direction anyway but it was very helpful to us. Our tourguide more than made the tour and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour it was worth every penny i spent and them some. |

| Put on your walking shoes and enjoy the interesting facts of the city by a knowledgeable guide. We had Shane and he was terrific. The stops were great, stopping at a super spice store, sampling cheeses, chocolates, pizzas, and great information at a terrific tea shop while sampling a giant iced tea. This tour was better than I anticipated, the best $40 I have spent in a long time. I went with my three sisters and we just loved every minute of it. ENJOY!!!!! |

| The tour provided excellent information on the history and culture of Chicago. The food stops provided a variety of tasty samples and accomodated various dietary restrictions. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and made everyone feel welcome in Chicago. |

| Lots of walking, but totally worth it. Overview of the area's history, architecture, and food. Guide was informative and enthusiastic, and clearly wanted to make sure each participant had a good time. |

| I enjoyed the walking tour and learning about the suburbs of Chicago. It was as interesting as the food we tasted. The bulk of the food came toward the end the the tour so be sure and eat lunch if you have the 2PM tour. It was not enough food for my husband but enough for me! A great girlfriend/ girl's day out thing to do!! |

| This tour was very beneficial to those who have seen the city of Chicago because it gave them the chance to view the sights and the stores on the outskirts of the city limits. Three towns were visited, Gold Coast, Old Town, and Lincoln Park. Some of the boutique shops were very interesting to tour but the chocolate shops and the pizza restaurant were my favorite. I felt that the price for the tour was a little bit too much for the amount of food that was tasted. The types of food tasted such as cheese, potato pancake, and spices hardly were enough to fill one's appetite yet the iced tea, pizza, and two chocolate samples were enough to wet an appetite for the main course. Our tour guide, Nikki, was very educated about the tour and also very entertaining. An overall rating for the trip would be an 8 out of 10. |

| Nicki was our tour guide and she was wonderful! Knowledgable and fun!! It was a great tour to get outside of Mag Mile and see the REAL Chicago!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone!! It was the best part of our 5 day trip to Chicago... above and beyond the Zoo and a dinner cruise. Thank you!!!! |
