| I visit Chicago every year and each time I try to find something different to do. This was a very enjoyable afternoon. The guide was informative and fun! I would highly recommend this tour not only to visitors but to locals looking for something unusual! |

| Our guide Tad was lots of fun and very accommodating to our rather unusual group. I was accompanied by my 30 year old niece from Washington D.C. and my 85 year old father from the Chicago area. My niece had never spent time in Chicago and thoroughly enjoyed herself. My father enjoyed the walk down memory lane (as he worked in the city most of his working life and has been retired almost 30 years) but certainly would have appreciated a shorter lane. He came hungry as suggested but found the first food tasting a tad too long into the tour. I enjoyed the tour but would have liked to see more variety in the food tasted. If you enjoy walking and want to see a lot of the city, I highly recommend this tour. Be warned, the tour end is over 2 miles from where the tour started! |

| I highly recommend this tour. My wife and I enjoyed the tour very much. The guide, Niki, was up beat, energetic and very knowledgeable about all the neighborhoods. She did an excellent job of interacting with everyone and keeping the tour interesting. I am looking forward to going back to some of the places we visited. |

| Wow! This is the BEST way to see Chicago and sample some very good things!
Our tour guide, Nikki, was so enthusiastic, we could have just been happy talking with her. Her knowledge of history and landmarks made our first Chicago visit a really positive one. The foods were very good and we actually returned to three of the shops on the tour in the next two days to shop and eat.
I liked the small group we were in (only 5) and the generous amount of snacking we were permitted. This is the perfect way to see the North Side. I highly recommend it. Out of the seven different things we did in the 5 days we were in Chicago, this tour was my wife's #2 rated after the play, WICKED, and my #3 after WICKED and a Segway tour.
Wow! Why not Segway to the food shops! A great idea!

| My mom and I are from Michigan. We attended this event with my friend and her mother who are from Florida. The tour was alot of fun and it gave us an opportunity to see a great deal of Chicago and it's unique neighborhoods in the surrounding area of busy Michigan Avenue. One word of advice though, it takes alot longer than an hour to return to where you begin the tour if you're walking. Also I believe the tour walk covered more than two miles. We're all pretty physically fit and were exhausted by the time we walked back to the starting destination.
Our comments regarding the food we sampled: The Jewish Deli: I would rather have tried some of the deli meats over the greasy potatoe pancake.
We really enjoyed the tea, pizza and chocolate. (A sample of fudge at the fudge pot would have been preferred over the butter toffee) most people think you will sample fudge with a name like the fudge pot.
Our guide Shane was extremely knowledgeable and a real pleasure to spend three hours with. He is enthusiastic and thoroughly enjoys his job as a tour guide. |

| We did the planetfood tour on Saturday June 9th. The tour takes you through many interesting neighborhoods in and around the Loop area. I especially enjoyed going to the tea shop, the spice shop and the Fudge Pot. Our guide provided good info and background on the areas and homes we passed by. I would recommend the tour to anyone who likes to walk, enjoys history and is interested in finding out about good places to eat with the locals.

| This was a wonderful tour. We've already recommended it to several of our friends that live in the city. Not only was there a great sampling of interesting, local foods, we learned a lot of great facts about the city. It was the perfect way to learn more about some of the neighborhoods and find places we'd like to visit again. |

| My husband and I realyy enjoyed this walking tour. It allowed us to see different neighborhoods and gave us a sense of what Chicago has to offer. The tastings of "Old Chicago" vendors were plentiful and provided history.
The three hours on your feet was a bit exhausting but well worth it..
Nicki, our tour director was energetic, full of knowledge, and brought enthusiasm to the group... |

| I grew up in Chicago and signed up for the Food Tour to please my wife. It was rainy, and a lot of walking, but our guide Nicki made it a throughly enjoyable experience of new places in Chicago and new eateries.
We hope the Chicago Food Planet will offer other neighborhood food tours, for our next visit to the Windy City from the South. We highly recommend the Norht Side tour we experienced, and commend our guide for her knowledge and good care of us. |
