| Our guide, Jennifer, went out of her way to make each of us feel welcome and engaged. Unlike many tour guides, Jennifer managed to maintain a freshness and enthusiasm for the tour. She never rushed us through material.
We enjoyed seeing neighborhoods, parks, and homes and learning interesting things about them.
The food was delightful, but we are most captivated by the teas and spices. It's going to be a whole new world for us. We look forward to better food and drink this winter, and we'll think of the tour fondly as we indulge. |

| My wife and I really enjoyed this tour. The locations of the eateries and quality of food were superb. However, the tour ran an hour over of the scheduled time and we had to run out at the end to make prior plans. We highly recommend but be prepared to stay longer then the agenda states. |

| We really enjoyed the tour and our guide. She was fun and kept it interesting. We were not able to get back to the oil store before it closed ( stopped off at a pub), but they did unlock the doors at the spice shop and let us shop since Monday was a holiday and we were leaving before they would re-open. We went back to the deli the next day after we tasted the potato cakes on the tour. The only thing I wished to be different was the pizza, I think a good greasy sausage and pepperoni would have been better than the healthy spinach...=) We have come back to Indiana and told everyone about the tour and several of our friends are interested next time they visit Chicago. |

| This tour was a great way to hit several birds with one stone: try out Chicago foods, visit several residential neighborhoods and support local businesses. There was a lot of walking but the best treat was the pizza and the chocolate at the end. Our tour guide (12 noon tour, 8/31) was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. |

| It's a very good tour to get a better picture of Chicago's neighbourhoods. The guide was very enthousiastic. The tastings were good, interesting and (for European standards) it was a lot of food. Our only suggestion would be to end with coffee/espresso instead of chocolate (as an advice: don't eat too much chocolate at the fudge shop! It tastes great!). |
