| I had taken this tour several years ago when I visited Chicago with a group of girlfriends. I loved it. Well, last year my daughter moved to Chicago. I made reservations and she and I went on the food tour. It was just as much fun as the first time. She was amazed because many of her friends were not aware of this tour. They all assumed we were going to the taste of Chicago. This is a wonderful way to entertain friends from out of town. The oil shop was new and tremendous. I have since ordered from them. Keep up the good work. Your guides are well informed and the tour was tremendously well organized.

| The tour guide was very enthusiastic. We loved some of the placesbut were under the impression we would sit down a little more. My group was seniors and we would have liked to sit and listen and eat. We throught more food could have provided at each place like hors d'oeuvres. So we were a little disappointed in that. We felt it was worth $24.00 not $44.00. And it was a little too much walking for a person with an artificial hip. We all walk alot but I guess because there was no sitting we had a bad time. Could provide more restrooms stops also. |

| This was a great way to visit places you might never see or might not enter on your own. Great way to get introduced to various neighborhoods and lots of food choices. The food was very good and our guide was good too. There were several questions that she couldn't answer that were asking for more detail about some of the things she did discuss. While I realize one cannot anticipate all the questions they might be asked i did think she should probably have had some of the answers to these questions, especially since they were follow-ups to her her presentation. The only thing that we thought was turn-off was a heavy emphasis at the beginning of the tour on giving her a gratuity--we knew it was appropriate--the printed info we had discussed it in detail. Actually, we probably would have given her a bigger tip if we didn't feel that she was begging.
However, we thoroughly enjoyed and plan to do the other option soon. |

| The walk was wonderful, filled with interesting sights and information but not much food. Our guide was great with a warm personality giving each of us attention and answered our questions even when they were silly. Food however, was sparse getting only one small bit as a sample of the whole establishment except for the pizza. |

| This was a perfect tour. Jennifer, our guide, was personable and knowledgable.
We enjoyed every aspect from the tastings to the neighborhood walkings. I have already recommended the tour to family members who will be going to Chicago in August. I will continue to praise this tour and the next time we are in Chicago we will take the other tour offered. |

| My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour. We learned about the different stores and products these stores provided. I never knew that there were so many different types of oils and vinegars! The taste sampling at all of the stores was great. The chocolate sampling at The Fudge Pot was delicious. Of course, I love chocolate. The explanations given at all the stores was very informative and our tour guide, Nicki, was a wealth of information! I have already recommended this tour to friends who will be going to Chicago. |

| My husband and our two grown children did this tour and loved it. We all had a great time and found some wonderful new restaurants and shops. We returned to two of the shops the next day as customers. |

| We really enjoyed the tour. The guide, Kate, was enthusiastic and informative. We saw a beautiful area of Chicago, made our own reuben with the best pastrami we've ever eaten, sampled some great candy, and learned about oils and vinegar as well as spices. It was a pleasant way to get a better feel for the area. |

| This was a delightful way to experience the unique shops and businesses in the neighborhoods of Chicago. Walking made the tour more intimate and fun and you were up close and personal rather than a ride by on a bus. There was more interaction with the tour guide and other members of the group. The tasting was great fun. The only negative of this tour was one of the stops where the workers were indifferent to us and gave the feeling we were a bother. I would like to see the Catering establishment changed to one of the Bakeries we saw in the area. Also, it would have been better if we could have purchased items during the tour. How many of the group had the time or took the effort to return to one of the stores to buy?
All in all, this was one of most enjoyable and different tours I have taken. |
