| The weather did not completely cooperate, but the tour was great. I would highly recommend it. By walking you see many parts of Chicage you would otherwise miss. The planned stops are all unique stores and independently owned. Returned to many of the stores for personal purchases as well as great gifts. |

| I am so glad that I booked this tour online. It was fabulous! Our tour guide, Emily, was wonderful - nice, thoughtful, knowledgable! The stops we made were really interesting and delicious! I loved the spice shop! I had never been to a vinegar and oil shop and enjoyed it tremendously. The pizza lunch was a nice stop. In fact, all the food stops were great. The walk was long, but very interesting and took us to neighborhoods that we wouldn't have visited on our own. Plus you need to walk a lot to walk off all the food! This tour was terrific! |

| My husband, daughter (26yo) and I were in Chicago for the two of them to attend separate conferences. As the Mom, I wanted to find an activity we could do and enjoy together. I found it in this tour! Both of them told me, after the fact, that they were skeptical about doing the tour, but afterward I got "high fives" and "good choice, Mom" from them.
We visited unique stores and saw neighborhoods of Chicago which we probably never would have visited except for this tour. Our tour guide, Nickie, was enthusiastic and informative. She had interesting facts to share about the shops, houses and neighborhoods we visited.
The tour was well worth the money, the time was surely well spent and the food samples were delicious! |

| The food and beverage tastings were great, but the real value is in the visits to the different neighborhoods. Feel like we got a great feel for Chicago by walking through different areas. Our guide, Nikki, was wonderful. In addition to knowing a lot about the food and beverages we sampled, she knew a lot of the history and architecture of the areas we toured. Lots of walking, but well worth it. We ended up going back to some of the places we visited to shop later in the day. |

| I bought the tickets for my twentysomething sons and their significant others for Christmas and they all said what a fantastic time they had. They were very impressed with the unique shops they toured and enjoyed learning about the neighborhoods they walked through. Being from the suburbs they would not have even known these shops existed and the wonderful samplings these fabulous shops offered put this tour over the top for them. They phoned me as soon as their tour ended quite excited and pleased, and were very impressed with their knowledgeable guide! They strongly recommend this tour to foodies of all ages! |

| It was a great way to see Chicago. Not your typical sit in a bus and look at sites from afar. Our tour guide, Jennifer, was fun and informative. We walked into neighborhoods and parks that we would normally pass by. Learned very interesting information about buildings and businesses. We visited fabulous stores and restaurants out of the main stream of tourist attractions. The unique stores were small and quaint. They all had their specialties and we learned so much from each one of them. I just received my package from the Oil & Vinegar store. Yum! I am very excited about trying the new flavors.
Next time you are in Chicago, put your walking shoes on and check it out. This is the only way to tour a city and find all the really cool places. Tourist traps watch out. |

| After living in Chicago for 35 years, I learned new things on this tour. I didn't know that Hugh Hefner had given the Playboy Mansion to the Art Institute for a freshman dorm and that it was now very large condos. I rediscovered Old Town. Last time I visited there it was seedy and dumpy. None of us had tasted Ethel's Chocolates and we will certainly return there. Jennifer was a great guide ~ knowledgable, personable and enthusiastic. She did a great job! |

| Great experience and would certainly recommend to anyone. The only thing I would recommend is to have more restaurants involved, in closer proximity to one another. for that matter, there could even be multiple tours offered, like one for restaurants only in lincoln Park or downtown, etc. Another thing is that at the food shops (not restaurants), there should be some time alloted for buying products. for us, we do not plan on being back in Chicago anytime soon, and we had such a hectic schedule that it was impossible for us to go back to the spice store and oil store to buy what we wanted. for places like that, it would be helpful to give tourists who are not likely to visit the store at another time, a quick opportunity (like 10 minutes or so) to buy some things.
Other than that, this was a great tour with an awesome guide, and we would recommend it to other Chicago visitors :) |
