| My friend and I rode the Mega Bus to Chicago. We are both foodies. We love to cook and go to cooking classes. So this seemed like a good fit for us. We loved all of it.
We also are walkers, hikers, etc. There is alot of walking, but if you are used to this it shouldn't be a problem. We went to some very different places. The "Spice Merchant" being one. Awsome! Seeing other neighborhoods that I normally would not have known about, restaurants that I would have missed and beautiful buildings are just a few other good things about this tour. And before I forget, the guide, Jennifer was plesant, and knowlegable. |

| This event was well worth doing. I took the tour myself as my husband was in Chicago on business. I felt very comfortable. The tour guides were very nice and the tour itself was great. It was very informative and saw what was described in the advertising. The tasting part of the tour was great as well. I saw and experienced things that I never would have on regular travel. I highly recommend this tour to any wife with her husband on travel or any couple that want to see and experience parts of Chicago that other wise wouldn't be experienced. |

| Loved that I learned more about some of the more off-the-beaten track neighborhoods in Chicago while getting to sample some great/ unique food. Unlike many of the people on the tour who were experiencing Chicago for the first time, I'd been to Chicago several times (my mom lives in the Chicago burbs) and yet I still learned so much about Chicago that I hadn't known before. As for the food, yes, some of these places I could've went to on my own... but would I have ever known to do so? No way. This tour introduced me to places I would never have discovered, and I'm all the better for it. |

| My husband and I had a great time on the tour. We learned a lot of Chicago history and enjoyed some yummy food along the way! Our tour guide, Tad, was a wealth of knowledge and very easy to talk to. We highly recommend you take this tour early in your visit to Chicago so you can check out all the shops & restaurants Chicago Food Planet recommends. |

| In my opinion, this tour was a great value. Not only do you get to try some excellent foods, spices and oils, but you also get to walk through some interesting neighborhoods! I ended up purchasing all my Chicago souvenirs from the stores on this tour because the products were unique and wonderful! Our guide (Emily) was enthusiastic and obviously loves her city, which boosted our enthusiasm for the tour. I'd also like to mention that while a few reviewers have indicated that the actual amount of food you eat on this tour isn't much...but I thought it was perfect! I personally cann't get stuffed on food and then walk at a decent clip very comfortably. If you're really concerned about the amount of food, I'd suggest having a late breakfast - just don't get TOO full before this tour, because you'll get an extremely filling and delicious pizza toward the end! For something a little different, I HIGHLY recommend this one! |

| My husband had been on this tour before with a group of teachers and had said to me, "I've never been more sure of anything than I am sure that you will love this tour." He was right!!!! It was fantastic. When Emily, our tour guide, asked us at the end of the day what I had liked the best. I said the delicious chocolate that I was eating at the time. That was true because the "best" the thing was whatever we were doing at the moment! It was all fabulous and I couldn't pick one thing over another. The walk was amazing. You see Chicago as you never see it when you are traveling by taxi or bus from one destination to another. We were lucky enough to even have one of the hospitable owners of an historic house we were walking by, talk to us about her home and the neighborhood.
Emily was a great guide! We found out she was fairly new to the job but you would have never known it. She did a wonderful job!
I am requesting this as my Mother's Day gift from now on. I don't think I could ever grow tired of reliving this experience.
Thank you so much!

| A very enjoyable activity weather was kind to us and the tastings were gd. Interesting places we thought on the whole. The caterers tasting cheese was not as good as the others though. Guide was great. The discount tickets were a good idea and we did use them the following days. Oils and spices were the best. Its a very different way to see a city we would deinitely reccommend doing this. It is tiring particularly if you have been sightseeing on foot for a couple of days already. |

| The tour was lots of fun. It was great to get away from the more touristy areas and see (and taste) another part of Chicago. |

| The food tour is definitely well worth the price. No only do you get a chance to taste great food, but a cultural tour is included! |

| we didn't have of time to see every thing in chicago, so that tour came as the best thing to see alot in the city in a very short time, the tour was great, we wouldn't pay attention for most of those details if we were walking by it. but once they tell you about you really enjoy every minute of that trip. food was not much, we expected to eat more since they tell you that you going to taste a lot so we didn't eat breakfast that day, but if i would go again, i'll have breakfast at the morning.
the best activity was the pizza place, it's amazing but we realized after the trip was over that the best part was the walking by all these nice places.
to enjoy it the most, we recommend to go on the tour on you first day there and after that go all over the city by your selves so you can stop by those places and enjoy the city the most.
over all it's a five star activity if you don't expect to eat a lot |
