| Spices, oil, and tea--the highlights of the tour. We could have done without chocolate repetitions (even though we did not have chocolate in each place).
Emily was charming, positive, and socially skilled. She presented interesting tidbits. |

| This was a wonderful experience for my husband and me. We had been to Chicago before to see the usual sights and wanted something personal and different. Our group of 14 was diverse, yet everyone loved the tour. The guide, Jennifer, was knowledgeable, fun and made each individual feel welcome. The tour even ran overtime because of all the interest our group showed in the sights. If you want to see three different neighborhoods, a number of unique shops and restaurants, sample great food, see diverse architecture, learn some interesting history and spend a fun 3 to 4 hours exploring Chicago's north side, do not miss this tour. We can't wait until we can return to take their new tour. |

| A WONDERFUL GROUP OF PEOPLE, AND ALL AGES WHO GOT ALONG AND WENT TO THE TOP OF THE JOHN HANCOCK BLDG AFTERWARDS AND HAD A GOOD TIME TALKING. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS EXCURISON, AS THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD, THE DESERTS WERE TO DIE FOR AS WAS THE COMPANIONSHIP. |

| My wife and I celebrated our birthdays with a two-day visit to Chicago -- a place we haven't visited for several years. Discovered the Food Tasting Tour during an internet search to plan our visit. We were blessed with perfect weather and a good tour guide. We went back to three of the tour destinations to make purchases. -- the tea, oil and fudge shops. All shops and the architectural descriptions were interesting. Wish we could have had a sip of a different tea with each food tasting.
Next time we go to Chicago, we will check for new tour destinations.
Suggestions:
We were lucky to find parking right next to tour starting place. It would have helped if a better description of parking choices was included with map and instructions when purchasing tickets. Also, I was surprised the tour ended far from the starting point. Please consider returning as a group to the start location. We used a taxi to return because the time required to walk conflicted with our other plans. Maybe I misunderstood the duration of the tour, but it lasted longer than expected -- but I'm not complaining. |

| Our tour leader was outstanding. She was cheerful, helpful, and provided excellent insight of the area. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone. The spots that we stopped at were great and the store employees were very helpful. |

| These folks are outstanding. The tour had only one slot left,l but after sending an email they made sure my wife could join the same tour.
The guide new her stuff and was very outgoing. The stops in the various eateries were well chosen and executed. We loved some so much we went back to buy some exellent items (food).

| We took the Near North Food Tasting Walking Tour on Saturday October 18th at 12:30. Our guide was fantastic and we really enjoyed the places on the tour. Of course the food was fantastic, from the potato pancakes to the chocolates and pizza. The stops at the spice house and the oil and vinegar store were great! Not the usual venue and so appreciated. Very personable young lady guiding us and she seemed to enjoy this as much as we did. |

| We really enjoyed the walking tour and the various tastings. The places we visited were unique with quality products. They are places I probably would not have entered if it were not for the tour. I will be sure to stop by or order online now that I know how good they are.
The information shared about the neighborhoods was also very interesting. Our guide did a great job. I highly recommend this tour to visitors and to Chicago natives! |

| The guide was wonderful and it was interesting to see the different neighborhoods. I was disappointed that the pizza stop only had spinach pizza since I do not eat spinach. It would it have been helpful if the guide asked in the beginning if anyone would prefer plain pizza and then call ahead to make it happen. The pizza restaurant did not even have slices of plain pizza available. |
