| We were a group of 5 friends who were in the Peace Corps together and doing a reunion in Chicago and wanted to do a bit of a touristy thing in terms of seeing the city but not being talked at the whole time which would impede on our time together. This tour was perfect. First of all, we all love to eat so that was what initially interested us. We had a very energetic and informative guide named Nicki. She pointed out great things about the city that were off the beaten track. The food places were good. The spice one was a bit odd but interesting enough. Took a while there though. We loved the O' Fame and Tea stop especially. I suppose we didn't need 2 chocolate stops (Fudge Pot and Ethel's Chocolate Lounge). It would've been good to have a little more balance in the food such as veggies somewhere since the pizza and then the catering stop w/ the chesses and bread are a bit redundant. But overall, we really loved it. We weren't stuffed at the end and some said they wish they had eaten a bit more but I thought it was satisfying. I've already gotten another group to go this coming Sat! |

| A Great Day!
Our guide was very personable, informative and professional.
The destinations foods that were offered were creative, fun and of high quality. We loved the variety from deli to tea to spices and chocolate! The locations on the tour were historically interesting and fun to see/revisit firsthand.
There is a lot of walking--dress/plan accordingly--but it is metered out very well with the food stops. Our guide kept us on schedule, but we never felt rushed. The three hours flew by.
We loved how deserving restaurants were pointed out along the way,(and listed on a souvenier sheet), and the vendor coupons that we took advantage of after the tour.
A fun way to spend a day exploring Chicago!

| I enjoyed both the walk through some of Chicago's most interesting neighborhoods and the "tastings" at the seven restaurants. The guide was informative and interesting. It was a good way to get acquainted with Chicago. |

| After visiting my son in Chicago periodically over the past 7 years, I decided it was time to play tourist. I love food and wanted to see some of the neighborhoods that I normally drive by, so this tour sounded perfect. Nicki, our guide was great - very friendly and lots of fun. We actually walked from the Water Tower to Lincoln Park, so I would say the you need to be able to do a fair amount of walking without tiring to enjoy this tour. The food stops were interesting and tasty! I plan to go back to some of the stores on my next trip up there. I do wish that the website would have stated specifically where the tour ended or that they would have emailed that information to the participants before the day of the tour. I could have walked to where I was staying after the tour was over, but I had to go back downtown on the train to pick up my car to drive back to Lincoln Park. I would have taken the bus into town had I known. and left my car where I was staying.
I am looking forward to the company expanding and offering tours though some other great Chicago neighborhoods with amazing history and food! Yum! |

| My uncle was visiting me for a few days and I stumbled across this tour online. We booked it and had a wonderful time. Nikki was our tour guide and she was awesome. Definitely make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes.
I have already told other locals about the tour and I am hoping the company will add a couple other different food tours in the near future! |

| We had a great time on our walking tour!! Great things to nibble on and drinks too!!
We even got a bathroom break half way through. Be sure to read the information they give you and travel as light as possible. Good walking shoes are a must!!!
We saw things we never would have any other way, and learned about Chicago history as we had a great time!!! Highly recommended!! |

| I took my girlfriends on this tour last weekend and we all agreed that it was a fantastic experience. Our tour guide, Nicki, was very knowledgeable and had contagious enthusiasm! I am a Chicago local and have been on the tour before, but it never gets better and better each time. This is a can't miss event! |

| We had a good time and Nikki our guide was energetic and knowledgeable. I would recommend to anyone that I knew was traveling to Chicago. I have a suggestion that would make the tour even better. We stopped at a Tea store but actually made a purchase at another location (closer to the end of the tour). It would be great if either the tour guide or the Tea store let the other store know the teas that were sampled so we could purchase the same flavors. |
