The best part of our visit to Chicago

| We loved our first visit to Chicago, the people, the sites, the shopping...BUT the best part of our short three day trip was the walking tour!!! Jennifer was fantastic, very informative and energetic!! We loved seeing a side of Chicago that we would have otherwise missed! I would highly highly recommend this to anyone...we had everyone from Chicago natives who had never taken the time to visit these local gems...to tourists like ourselves from out of country, in our group, and everyone had a great time!
Thanks again Jennifer you were great! |

| This tour was a great way to hit several birds with one stone: try out Chicago foods, visit several residential neighborhoods and support local businesses. There was a lot of walking but the best treat was the pizza and the chocolate at the end. Our tour guide (12 noon tour, 8/31) was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. |

| We enjoyed the history and local factoids provided, good pace and amount of town covered, nice variety and choices of stops, did not care for the plug for tips at the start of the tour. |

| My mom and I are from Michigan. We attended this event with my friend and her mother who are from Florida. The tour was alot of fun and it gave us an opportunity to see a great deal of Chicago and it's unique neighborhoods in the surrounding area of busy Michigan Avenue. One word of advice though, it takes alot longer than an hour to return to where you begin the tour if you're walking. Also I believe the tour walk covered more than two miles. We're all pretty physically fit and were exhausted by the time we walked back to the starting destination.
Our comments regarding the food we sampled: The Jewish Deli: I would rather have tried some of the deli meats over the greasy potatoe pancake.
We really enjoyed the tea, pizza and chocolate. (A sample of fudge at the fudge pot would have been preferred over the butter toffee) most people think you will sample fudge with a name like the fudge pot.
Our guide Shane was extremely knowledgeable and a real pleasure to spend three hours with. He is enthusiastic and thoroughly enjoys his job as a tour guide. |

| We did a similar tour inNYC & loved it( we did have more food stops there) it is sucha fabulous way to see another layer of a big city. It is nice to hear about the history of a neighbourhood & how it has evolved. in this case - we also learned about the products ie tea & spices-- most informative & a delightful way to spend three hours.. We would do another one in a different area on our next visit!!

| This was a great tour. My husband and I have been to Chicago many times, but he states "This is the best thing to do in Chicago." Our nephew was with us and actually tried new things - and more importanlty like them.
Kate is a wonderful tour guide! |

| I've been on numerous bus trips to Chicago and have always done the Michigan Ave thing. This was so much more enjoyable and informative. I loved walking through the neighborhoods and learning the history of the buildings and I finally know where Second City is. All of the tasting stops were interesting but the Old Town Oil and Tea Gschwendner were my favorites. There's something for everyone, it's just a nice way to see other neighborhoods of Chicago. Can't wait to go on the Bucktown/Wicker Park tour on my next visit. |

| The food tour was a wonderful way to experience some of the culture, history, and treats of Chicago. Our guide, Nicky, was informative and entertaining and the stops we made along the tour provided a unique tasting experience. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. |

| Our tour guide (Jessie) really made this tour wonderful! She was energetic and knowledgeable about Chicago food, architecture, and culture - and very obviously loved the city! The stops on the tour were excellent and I thought the setup in advance of tasting materials, etc. very lovely as all we had to do was show up. I enjoyed the Spice shop most of all, but all of the tour stops were interesting and reflected a variety of culinary interests. The tour length was perfect and (again) I can't say enough about our fantastic tour guide! |
