| This is definitely a must do for all Chicagoans and tourists. It was great to see the different neighborhoods up close and personal. The food was great and loved learning about diffrerent teas, oils, spices and their origins.
Jennifer, our guide, was excellent -- very enhtusiastic, knowledgeable and the walking pace was just right!
Keep up the great work! |

| The tour guide was friendly, well informed, and considerate of everyone's walking ability. Each stop was unique and interesting. The only stop that perhaps could be enhanced is the Catering chese deli. This was a little cramped and not as interesting as the other stops. The architectural portion of the tour was delightful. All and all my husband, daughter and myself throughly enjoyed the experience. We plan to take the Bucktown/Wicker Park tour in the near future. Thank you for a delightful day. |

| The tour was a lot of fun and Jen was a very good tour guide. Each stop on the tour was unique and informative and the food samples were YUMMY and PLENTIFUL! The only thing I would do differently is to book a hotel so we can go back and do a little more exploring! Thanks for a fun day. |

| This was a great way to truly experience some of the local culture Chicago has to offer. Living in the area I learned new things and experienced places off the beaten path we normally travel. Highly recommend this to both visitors and locals. |

| This tour was a fantastic way to learn more about the city I recently moved to. I loved the mix of cultural, historical, and culinary education offered. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, entertaining, and engaging. I would, actually already have, recommended this tour to my friends and co-workers. Thanks for the wonderful afternoon! |

| Loved the content, Loved the variation of food and resturants. LOVED the tour guide! Ariana was fantastic! Very knowledgable, approachable, funny. Seemed very comfortable doing her job and seemed to love the tour as much as we did. I especially liked Old town Oil, and really enjoyed Tea Geshwender. Would take this tour again in a heartbeat, and have recomended it to everyone who will listen! |

| We really enjoyed the walking tour and the tastings. Our guide (Jennifer) was enthusiastic and passionate about the neighborhoods and shops we visited. I think the price is a little expensive when you think about the amount of food...obviously you factor in the "experience" and tour aspects but I think less than $40 would be more appropriate. I'm going to try to do the Wicker Park/Bucktown tour though...so I'll make the stretch. Thanks for introducing me to new places that I can't wait to visit again (Spice Merchant and Old Town Oil for sure!). |

| To start with the tour was extremely well organized and our host (Shane) was extremely personable and knowledgeable. The tour mixed in information on each of the foods we were introduced to with a myriad of facts about the areas of Chicago we were walking through. The tour was very well planned and scanned the spectrum from tasting exotic oils and vinegars to learning about rare spices, from tasting homemade hummus to sipping unique teas, from sampling incredible chocolate to devouring one of a kind stuffed pizza.
My recommendation is to book early because this tour will sell out fast. There wasn't one person that I spoke to in our group who wouldn't go back again with a group of friends or relatives (even the hard to please ones!), including us!
Well done Chicago Food Planet, we look forward to trying your Bucktown tour in the near future! |
