| This tour was fantastic! There was a little more walking than anticipated but it was so much fun we did not care. Hopefully, we walked off some of the calories! The food samples were wonderful and I would highly recommend this tour for friends, groups or even families with teenagers. |

| This was a good tour . It was great to go into different Chicago neighbourhoods .[Old Town, Lincoln Park] Our guide , Emily also knew interesting details about the architecture we passed and was able to add this information to our tour. |

| We have never done anything like this before but it looked fun - and it was. It was a very hot day (late July) but 3 and a half hours later we were delighted we had done it. Emily our guide, was GREAT! She made it cheerful and interesting and she got the group talking to each other a bit - no mean feat! All were Americans except 2 Spanish, 2 Canadians and us two Kiwis from New Zealand. We could have taken even more information about the areas we walked through - nationalities living there, architecture, history, etc. There were a few assumptions made that we knew our American history (we had no idea why there had been riots in Chicago in the 70's? 80's? - we asked other walkers and not all the Americans were that sure of details either although the Canadian seemed to know a bit about it!!) However, if there are not a lot of foreigners then I can understand why assumptions are made. We could have spent longer on some places hearing exactly how they prepare spices, balsamic vinegar etc but the time was limited we know! The amount of food and tasting was great. Being Kiwis we seem to have smaller appetites than those from the US of A so we even had to ask for a 'doggie bag' at the pizza place :-) We felt it was well thought out and planned - I guess I would have swapped one chocolate place less for some other speciality but I don't know what there is that could be covered! We went home to relatives living in Chicago, who have never heard of it - and we raved and showed them our sheets of information etc and encouraged them to go! We were so pleased we did something like this and it may well be that we will do another one in some new place we go to in the future! If we returned to Chicago for a third time (as we would love to do) I would definitely go back to some of the shops to get a few things! We left Chicago the next day - we love the city and this walk was a great addition to our appreciation of it! Thank you. We are hoping that our exchange of emails with several other walkers will result in them getting in touch with us when they come to New Zealand! |

| We were three girlfriends on a 5 day trip to Chicago. We did many things and had a great time. The food tasting tour and cultural walk was one of the highlights! Our guide, Emily, was enthusiastic, informative and fun. The things we saw and tasted were great! My personal favorite was the toffee at the candy shop ( I can't recall the name right now), but it was early on in the trip. The tour was well worth the money and lots of fun. Thanks for putting a lot of thought into planning the tour. |

| We thoroughly enjoyed the cultural and food tasting walking tour! Our guide, Emily, was very approachable and easy to talk to. She was knowledgeable about Chicago history as well as current Chicago culture. Not only did we taste some wonderful foods and delectable drinks and spices, we also learned something! She made our excursion quite pleasurable. As the mother of 3, I would suggest that no child under age 12 take this tour as the walking would become a source of conflict. My husband and I took this Chicago trip without children and I would highly recommend this tour if you are planning a Chicago vacation! |

| My daughter and I really enjoyed the tour. We enjoyed the various businesses, the neighborhoods and the information provided by our tour guide. I've been to Chicago many times and saw parts of Chicago that I've never experienced. I would highly recommend this experience to a new visitor or one that thinks they know Chicago. |

| We very much enjoyed this tour ... a nice variety of food & beverages (from chocolates to tea) and learned a good deal about the city. Went to neighborhoods that we normally would not have thought to visit.
We very much recommend this tour to individuals not familiar with Chicago ... and even to those who are! |

| The tour was a great way to travel the streets of Chicago with a focus on food, history, and a little architecture. The idea of tasting vinegar and olive oil at first was very different. After sampling several unique combinations, WOW. The Spice Store was a treat to the smell senses, and a great stop. Our group also spent a good amount of time in the Tea Shop, and I would strongly encourage that the stop continue to be a regular. The staff was very knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. The thing that made the experience so great was our guide, Kent. He was very informative, humorous, entertaining, and a great pace setter. He makes you want to come back again and again. |
