| I was a little worried when I saw 3 chocolate destinations (I am one of the few non-chocolate lovers around) but was surprised by the variety of food offered at each of the 3 places. This tour was recommended by a co-worker and I will definitely spread the word. It was nice to see something other than Michigan Avenue, a play, or museum. Don't change a thing!

| If you have a few hours and a love of food, this is the tour for you. Great insight into food and these wonderful historic neighborhoods. You walk to earn the right to test some unique foods. |

| The tour was better than I anticipated. I learned a lot, tried great food and got a chance to see some of the city. It definitely went beyond my expectations. Our tour guide was wonderful - she was funny, informative and very helpful. |

| If licking cinnamon off of your hand is your idea of a "tasting" then the Food Tasting and Cultural Walking Tour is for you. Also, you might enjoy drinking small amounts of olive oil and vinegar or listening to a pedantic lecture about why coffee is bad for you from a tea store employee.
Once everyone was asked to taste cinnamon at a spice store by licking their hands, I was horrified. At each of the 8 sites, we were asked to pick up food with our hands,etc. The store owners should have at least sprung for a cracker...and some antibacterial wipes.
The guides were adorable and conveyed their rather odd array of information with enthusiasm. In short, there was a lot of walking, a little information, and even less edible food. |

| My Mom and I had never been to Chicago and read about this tour so decided it would be a nice way to learn about Chicago and start our trip. The tour was fantastic! We learned a lot, had an excellent tour guide, a great group of fellow tourists and the food/beverages were excellent (I'll be ordering several things from the places we visited - not enough room in my luggage to get them at the time). If we had known how much fun this was going to be we would have booked both tours for the same vacation, but we plan to return to Chicago on a future vacation because we loved the city so much. We both highly recommend this tour and agree with others about doing it at the beginning of a trip to learn more about Chicago (advice we got from others who had provided feedback when we were looking for things to do in Chicago). |
