| Despite horrendous weather (snow and rain and downed power lines!)), our small group of a brave five of us in total had a good time, with a nice variety of tasting stops (warn people that there truly is NO need to eat lunch afterwards!), and interesting comments about the different areas of Chicago.
If possible, more on the architectural variety would have been an added plus. |

| The weather was rainy and we still enjoyed our day. The walk was so interesting. We learned as tourists that there is more to Chicago than Michigan Avenue and Navy Park. Most of the success was because of the interesting and personable young man that was our leader. He was just great. |

| My daughter-in-law and I took the tour while our husbands were at a convention in Chicago. I was a lilttle skeptical when I signed us up; I found the site on the internet while searching for things for us to do in Chicago. I had nothing to base my decision on, but the tour sounded interesting. We genuinely enjoyed the tour very much; not even rain deterred our group. Our personal favorite was the gourmet tea experience and the custom spice shop... but the rest of the tastings were all fun, delicious and educational. Our group's leader was Shane - his personality was extremely pleasant and he made everyone in the group feel comfortable. The walking part of the tour was very informative and we saw so much of the north side neighborhoods and what is probably the true flavor of Chicago as it relates to everyday life in a city. We would go again and our husbands want to go next time.

| I went on this tour with a group of high school students. The teenagers were all excited about the tour . They are still talking about how neat it was. I thoroughly enjoyed the food, the walk was good , and our guide was tremendous. The walk kept you on the move, but we weren't running to keep up. |

| A very interesting activity. Shane our guide (think that was his name) was energetic, funny, and knowledgable about the places we visited and the foods we tasted. I have highly recommended this tour to my friends/family.
The only thing I would suggest would be to (if possible) include a food tasting with a little more protein/dairy at the start of the walk. Stopping at a cheese store/deli to sample some great cheeses and or salami's would be wonderful. I also would add maybe 5 - 10 minutes more to each stop. Felt a little rushed near the end of the tour. |

| Even though it was a very hot day with temperatures into the 100's (well it felt like it!) the tour was thoroughly enjoyable. Shane, our guide, was informative and entertaining as well as making sure that we were supplied frequently with cold water and trying to keep us in as much shade as possible. Even our thirteen year old granddaughter to whom all such learning experiences are "boooring", thoroughly enjoyed herself and couldn't stop talking about it when we returned to our hotel, and since our return to England.
Please pass our thanks on to Shane and we would recommend both him and your tour unreservedly. |

| I learned more in the four hours of the tour about food, architecture, Chicago history and trivia than I have learned on other tours. The guide was excellent; the group was very friendly. A walking tour is the best way to see up closely and slowly enough an appealing area of Chicago. I couldn't believe how far I had walked. And I am 67. The tour was four hours, not 3 as advertised. But we needed four to experience what we did. |

| The tour was exceptional. The food to die for. The stories that went along with the tour made the people, area and food really come alive. I am glad Jen was easy going and went along with our antics (sp?). She made the excursion a good time. This is a tour you must go on. |
