| My friends and I enjoyed the tour. We got to see many local establishments and tour the neighborhoods that we wouldn't have ever heard about. These were all new places for us to visit, and we're from Chicago. |

| This was an interesting and fun tour through some famous Chicago neighborhoods that I was not familiar with. There was a good variety in the types of stores visited and the pacing and opportunities to sit down were well timed. Information about the buildings that were pointed out was fairly general but this tour was really about food. There was time to chat and visit with your companions along the way. The guides were friendly, energetic and very enthusiastic about sharing their love of Chicago.
All in all, it was an enjoyable way to spend time off the beaten path in Chicago. |

| Our guide was wonderful. My least favorite place was the first stop ~ Ashkenaz. The time and walking distance were perfect. |

| We loved this tour! As a Chicagoan, now suburbanite, it was great to see the local businesses and their history. The shop owners and staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. The food was fantastic.
We learned so much on the tour and in a very fun way.
Thank you for the great day and to Nicki, our tour guide, you are the best.
I have already told my son, who lives a block from Ashkenaz, about his neighborhood businesses.
A suggestion, when we were in Lincoln Park, on Clark Street, we were steps from the scene of the St. Valentine's Day Massacre, 2122 N. Clark Street. Since not only was that a defining moment in Chicago history, but since it is known by most visitors, it should be a stop along the way.
Also, noting Ashkenaz's history as the most popular restaurant on the North Side long before it moved to it's present location. Also a mention of the beginning of Crate and Barrel on Wells Street to what it has become.
Thank you again for a great tour, guide, and perfect weather! We are eagerly looking for the next Food Tour. |

| The tour included some interesting food places is Chicago that I probably would not have known about. Other places were very well known.
The comments from the narrator about the neighborhoods we were walking though were very interesting and the the guide was very enthusiastic.
I was disappointed only because the tour was described as a tour of different ethnic neighborhoods and their representative foods, and it was not. Why did we bother walking to a deli that served us a chunk of cheese the size of my thumbnail?
Anyway, the tour should be about either historical food establishments in Chicago, or ethnic foods in chicago. |

| My boyfriend and I had a great time on the tour. Not only did we get to try great food, we also learned a lot about Chicago history, and walked through three wonderful neighborhoods in Chicago. I would definitely recommend eating breakfast beforehand, because the substantial tastings are at the end of the tour. I wasn't too sure how much I would enjoy tasting tea, seasonings and oil, but it was a great experience. We enjoyed every tasting. Although you cannot shop on the tour (because that would take forever), every person gets coupons for discounts at each store to use later if they want to return. My only other suggestion would be to bring a water bottle or something to drink. You get tea at the second stop of the tour, and water is provided at a few later stops, but otherwise you have to purchase a drink in the middle...During the summer months, you definitely get thirsty and may not want to purchase a drink. |

| The activity was fun, the food good, the locations we visited enjoyable and the tour guide was very knowledgable, freindly and involved with everyone. I am local to Chicago but my friends were from DC. I would recommend this anyone who wants a highlevel tour. I learned of one reatil store that I have already gone back to. |

| I bought the tickets for my twentysomething sons and their significant others for Christmas and they all said what a fantastic time they had. They were very impressed with the unique shops they toured and enjoyed learning about the neighborhoods they walked through. Being from the suburbs they would not have even known these shops existed and the wonderful samplings these fabulous shops offered put this tour over the top for them. They phoned me as soon as their tour ended quite excited and pleased, and were very impressed with their knowledgeable guide! They strongly recommend this tour to foodies of all ages! |
