| It was my second time on the walking tour, and I would go a third! I like the neighborhoods, the food, the parks, the history and information. Jenn was a great tour guide. It is a nice way to do something different in the city. You get the whole tourist experience and some great food!
I liked the pizza place better,(the the previous) and the olive oil shop was really neat. There was only one problem, when we got finished (Sunday) and walked back down, the shops were closed, so we didn't get to do any shopping.
Maybe think about making the children be at least 8-10 years old. |

| I was sooo impressed with our guide, Jennifer, she was an absolute 10!! She was knowledgeable, articulate and extremely engaging. The food tasting was very enjoyable with the my favorite being the spices, balsamic vinegar and olive oil tasting. A suggestion would be to eliminate the deli with the hummus tasting as it was not as interesting as the others. No one seemed interested in us being there, as the other owners and employees were at the other locations. Getting a background of the local history and architecture was an added bonus by Jennifer. I would highly recommend this tour.

| My daughter and I attended this tour. She is 21 and I am 46. We both absolutely loved the tour. She had never been to Chicago before and although I have been 5 or 6 times I had never been in these areas. We really enjoyed the day - the tour guide was excellent and the whole tour was a lot of fun and interseting. With the amount of food given we were not even hungry for supper. Our favourite food was the deli sandwich and our best experience was the tea store. We both would highly recommend this tour!! |

| I have already highly recommended this tour to a number of people who will soon be visiting Chicago. Our tour guide, Caroline, was excellent, informed, friendly, and enthusiastic. I loved visiting the local stores owned by 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation families. It was a great combination of culinary experiences. The next time I am in Chicago, I look forward to trying the other walking tours you have to offer. One suggestion - would love to see a food and wine pairing tasting tour - that would be much fun! |

| since we walked through an area, which is not in direct focus of tourists, I would suggest to put more emphasis on explaining the very interesting houses and the area |

| Our tour guide Nicki was fun & enthusiastic. This tour got us off the beaten path and into some neighbourhoods we wouldn't have seen otherwise. We covered a lot of ground at a relaxed pace, remember to wear comfy shoes. The next time I visit Chicago I'll definately try the Wicker Park tour.....and maybe do this one again! |

| Tour needs to focus on food or history, not both. I went on an excellent tour of Boston's North End with a chef who explained Italian food and cooking, and I would have liked having a similar experience in Chicago. Likewise, I would have welcomed a more focused tour of historic homes and neighborhoods, rather than mere admiration for the lifestyles of the rich and famous that was presented to us. However, I did like the pace of the tour and the varied neighborhoods that we explored. |

| Wow! I cannot say enough about the Near North Food Tour! This was a great way for me to see the heart of Chicago on my short weekend trip! The worst part was that I was LATE and missed the first 2 stops. I took the train when i should've taken a cab from my hotel. Just when I had given up, my cell phone rings and it's Nicky of the tour and she says, "Shawna, are you still coming to the food tour?" WOW! The website says they will not wait for you, but it doesn't say that they won't take care of you! Nicky gave me a number to a cab company and kept up with me 'til I caught up with the tour! AMAZING! I sampled the most awesome foods, saw some of the greatest buildings and was in the company of an EXCELLENT tour guide and enthusiastic travelers! I had too much toffee (can that happen?), loved the cinnamon and over did it on the pizza! I've placed an online order for the vinegars and oils and I can't wait to get back! Sign up! You'll get MORE than your money's worth! |
