| My wife and I have visited Chicago many times in the past 30 years but this was fun and interesting. A small group with a great guide (Jenn) who made the long walk interesting and worth our time. She worked hard to please and accomodate. I never would have stopped in these shops on my own. We went back and bought at 3 of the places we visited on our way back to the start. |

| This tour was really good. My sister, daughter and I all enjoyed it enormously. The speciality food shops were interesting to see and it was good to be taken to places a bit off the beaten track, which we normally wouldn't have gone to. The Oil Tree shop and Spice Shop I particularly liked and, of course, the Fudge Shop! I liked the fact that these were mainly traditional family based businesses, using fresh and/or local produce. We went back the same day and bought some tangerine oil and some spices and, of course, chocolate!
Our guide, Ariana, was lovely - very pleasant and informative, telling us lots of interesting stories. Ariana - sorry we missed you at the end of the tour - we were so busy enjoying the lovely pizza that you had already gone by the time we left. Keep up the good work! |

| I was sooo impressed with our guide, Jennifer, she was an absolute 10!! She was knowledgeable, articulate and extremely engaging. The food tasting was very enjoyable with the my favorite being the spices, balsamic vinegar and olive oil tasting. A suggestion would be to eliminate the deli with the hummus tasting as it was not as interesting as the others. No one seemed interested in us being there, as the other owners and employees were at the other locations. Getting a background of the local history and architecture was an added bonus by Jennifer. I would highly recommend this tour.

| We didn't know what to expect and hoped that we would find something of interest on this tour. From the moment Jennifer introduced herself, I knew this would be a fun event. We learned so much about Chicago and the foods and stores that we visited. Jennifer was truly outstanding! |

| This tour was a nice diversion from the usual tourist destinations of museums and parks. Anyone who enjoys food, cooking, or a walking tour of the local neighborhoods will enjoy this experience. The group was mostly older adults, but there were a few kids/teens present and they enjoyed it as well. Jennifer, the tour group leader, was well informed with a wonderful personality and communication skills - really delightful! I enjoyed all the destinations of restaurants and shops; they have some specialty shops that were really interesting and fun to visit and very informative!. Also the tour of the neighborhood homes was interesting - you can appreciate the architecture and the local life there. Great stories from Jennifer!
The only destination I suggest they change out is the catering food shop. Not very interesting and the food there is expensive; better to go to a restaurant where you can sit down and eat. |

| My daughter and I attended this tour. She is 21 and I am 46. We both absolutely loved the tour. She had never been to Chicago before and although I have been 5 or 6 times I had never been in these areas. We really enjoyed the day - the tour guide was excellent and the whole tour was a lot of fun and interseting. With the amount of food given we were not even hungry for supper. Our favourite food was the deli sandwich and our best experience was the tea store. We both would highly recommend this tour!! |

| What a great way to spend a few hours in Chicago! Jessie was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. The stops have a good variety and the info on the neighborhoods was interesting. Will try the Wicker Park version on our next trip. |

| We truly enjoyed our food & walking tour of Chicago with Chicago Food Planet. My husband & I enjoyed the tour even more our second time around! This time we brought our niece (12 years old) & our sister. All of us loved the history of Chicago & LOVED the food! Our tour guide, NICKI TADER was fantastic!! She was just awesome & made the tour so much fun! My favorite parts were the Chicago spinach stuffed pizza & the Spice House. We even went back to purchase a few spices. It rained that morning & looked a little gloomy, however Nicki said "it never rains on my tours" & we had the most spectacular day with sunshine! What a great way to spend an afternoon with your loved ones eating delicious food in our great city of Chicago!!! :) |
