| We purchased two tickets for myself and my spouse. We have found that these tours offer you exposure to parts of the city we might not have seen otherwise.
We enjoyed it very much and will be searching for these types of tours every time we go to a new city.

| This was a great tour. It started out with a sandwich at a great Jewish deli, then went to a great tea shop where we got an education about tea and left wondering why coffee is so predominant in the U.S. when tea is the #1 beverage everywhere else in the world. Then it was off to the Spice House which will be getting internet business from me. I've never seen a better selection of organic, fresh spices. Then next door to Old Town Oil, which was my favorite stop. We did an olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting...don't knock it! We left with a bottle of the best olive oil I've ever tasted and will be ordering the 18 year aged balsamic! Then it was off to the Fudge Pot--yeah, chocolate! Then to a catering and chocolate place, then ending up at Bacino's Pizza for authentic Chicago stuffed crust pan pizza. It was a wonderful and surprisingly educational tour. Highly recommended. |

| This tour was a great experience. It was a wonderful balance of history, architecture, and food. My husband and I loved learning about new restaurants and local hot spots. Even though we are from the Chicagoland area, we learned a great deal about parts of Chicago that we had never visited. After our tour, we now feel comfortable to go back and try some of the restaurants and shops in more depth, or even just walk around the neighborhoods to view the beautiful homes and architecture. Shane was a wonderful tour guide. He thoughtfully planned the trip with just the right amount of food tasting, appropriate bathroom stops, and just the right amount of walking (wear comfortable shoes!). We loved this event, and hope he considers putting together more tours to hilight different areas around the city. Well worth the money! |

| We really enjoyed our food tour. Tour guide did a good job. A few suggestions:
Not enough time in oil or spice shop. Pizza was very good, but a long way from the previous stop. We ending going back to three of the shops and used our coupon sheet to make purchases. |

| We took this tour on our first day in Chicago. Really helped orient us to where things were. Shawn was a terrific "leader", being very enthusiastic and knowledgeable plus a little wacky which made it all the more fun. The tea/spice/pizza stops were our favorites but we also enjoyed the deli food and we would never say a bad thing about chocolate! It was great to learn about the buildings and neighborhoods and other little tips about visiting Chicago. We would absolutely recommend this tour. Do try to take it at the beginning of your visit. Thank you Shawn and newbie trainee Nicky for a great time! |

| This tour was even better than anticipated. Our guide was personable, fun and very knowledgeable. The presentations were full of interesting facts and the food tastings at each place were delicious, more than adequate and made our entire group want to visit again to dine and/or shop. We also enjoyed the unexpected bonus of the architectural and historical information provided as we walked through several different neighborhoods. It was a great way to spend a day in the city with friends. |

| I don't know when I have received a better return on my vacation dollar. The tour was very interesting, many local historical sights were pointed out to us. We saw many local neighborhoods, Old Town, Lincoln Park, the Gold Coast, that we would never have seen on our own.
And, as an avowed foodie, the tour was paradise. All the food was excellent and it was a pleasure to find such excellent sources for purchasing spices and olive oils.
The guide was friendly and fun. I would do it again!!! |

| The tour was even better than expected, we learned a lot about the food that we were tasting and about Chicago. I have already told many friends about it and will continue to spread the word. It's a great event to do while in Chicago. |
