| The idea of mixing classical tourist tour with food tasting is a good idea.
But the historic/architecture explanations were quite poor, and the tasting (in particular the pizza at the end) not really fantastic. |

| Our guide was wonderful. I was by myself from Oklahoma and I decided to do the tour while my husband was in a meeting. I met 14 fun women with their daughters from Tennessee, and was adopted by the group. A fun time was had by all, and I left feeling as though I now had 15 new friends (tour guide and Tennessee ladies).
Thank you! |

| Loved this tour! What a great idea to combine a walking historical, cultural, architectural tour with food stops! The tour guide, Jenn, was fantastic--very enthusiastic! And the three hours seemed to fly by. Melissa from Tea Gschw.... was great as well. I would certainly recommend this to anyone visiting Chicago. |

| The guides were great, knowledgeble and entertaining.
The tour was full of food info, restaraunt info and local info.
For someone from out of state, it was a great way to get a feel for the area to be able to go back and shop. I definitely recommend it to people visiting and locals as well. |

| A fun way to see some local sights, learn about Chicago, and eat some good food. You will also learn about local restaurants, and food shops. Fun and relaxing. |

| We tasted latkes, tea, spices, oils & balsamic vinegars, chocolate toffee, cheeses & deep dish pie. I would have liked shorter presentations (the tea guy went on forever) and more food tastings. I would have loved to try small portions of signature Chicago dishes. Enjoyed the architectural information, though. Overall, I think I would have liked more samples at more restaurants, but in small portions. And I would have liked to know more about foods that are Chicago specialties, and more about the current food scene in Chicago - maybe even some culinary history of the town. |

| We started out our tour in a sprinkling of rain which shortly let up and we just kept on trucking through the sidewalks of Chicago. I enjoyed the food part, the cultural part and our tour leaders knowledge. We spread the news of our tour to our bus group and I feel some of them will be there next year when we come to town again. We plan on taking the Bucktown tour then ourselves. |

| I had a great time on the tour. The tour guide was wonderful, pleasant, informative.
The locations chosen were nice, and walking through the neighborhoods with commentary about history and architecture added a lot. I went back to 3 of the stores after the tour to make purchases.
The only negative was the Ashkenaz deli. The latkas were awful. They were very greasy, not crispy. Not like a good latke should be. For people on the tour who have never eaten one, this was a poor example of a latke.
Thanks. |
