| We met at the Ashkenaz Deli and knew right away we had a good group touring with us. Adriana was our guide and we could not have asked for anyone better. We loved the stops, but it felt like more than 1 l/2 miles. Maybe I'm just not in shape. The talk about the neighborhoods was very informative. The only comment (not complaint) we have is we think the Askenaz Deli should give a choice of either a potato knish or a sandwich. Unfortunately some of the people do not eat meat and were unable to try the sandwich. The guide told us that they used to offer the knish and people complained that there was no meat on the tour. I guess you can't please everyone, but maybe a choice (in advance) would be a better option. We had two people from Baltimore and two from California who were spending a weekend together and we all loved the tour. I, personally loved the Tea Shop and the Pizza was incredible. After the tour we returned to the Spice Shop and Tea Shop and did some shopping. Other people from our tour were also at these shops. I doubt if many people returned to the candy shop or catering shop. The only other comment I have is that it would have been nice to have been able to sit at one additional time other than the Spice Shop and then at the very end for Pizza. We all had tired feet, but would not have missed the tour. |

| We were four adults ranging in age from 27 to 60 (3 female, one male) who were 1000 miles from home. This fabulous walking tour of Chicago neighborhoods gave us an overview of unique buildings, city history, and food tasting at local shops. The eclectic mixture of samplings came from shops that included a deli, a tea shop, a chocolate maker, a spice emporium, an oil & vinegar vendor, a pizza restaurant. The walk was casually paced. We stopped to hear the history of buildings and neighborhoods between being treated to demonstrations and food tastings at local shops. This was an innovative way to get to know and appreciate Chicago. I have done this tour twice now in two consecutive years, and each time it was a delight. |

| Our tour guide, Jen, was awesome. She was pleasant and informative. Props to Jen. However, I the structure of the tour was HORRIBLE. It was my understanding that this was a food tour, but we ate very little and walked way too much. We arrived at our meeting spot at 11:15 a.m. as instructed, and were greeted with a piece of chocolate which no one seemed to be interested in ingesting at 11:15 a.m. anyway, but whatever. From there we had a potato cake, some tea, licked cinnamon off our hands (gross), took oil and vinegar shots (equally gross), and had some more chocolate. Let's just take a minute and think of the disgusting combination of substances that were in our stomachs up to this point. By 2:15 that's all we'd had! At which time we ate one piece of pizza, before going on to ANOTHER chocolate stop. Don't get me wrong, I love chocolate, but why didn't you just advertise this as a chocolate tour? We passed DOZENS of amazing restaurants on our way that could have offered appetizers and such of a more substantive nature. I felt extremely jipped that I paid to have someone lead me around on a way too long walking tour while my family and I were going hungry and about to pee our pants most of the time. I am a local and took this as an opportunity to show my family around while they were in town. I have a group of (local) friends who are signed up for this same tour next month. My recommendation to them was to eat a big lunch before the tour and to ditch the tour about two hours before the scheduled end time, as they will have already seen three chocolate shops at that point, and do your feet really need to suffer to see one more?! I will never recommend this tour to someone. I would like a refund. |

| Tour guide is extremely knowledgable about the city's culture and history. Food locales are well chosen, along an excellent route, and offer a variety of items to sample. |

| We really enjoyed the three towns and all the info about them and the architecture, etc.
At the end of our tour (3 1/2 hrs), we had to run to catch another tour we'd booked, but would have liked to go back into some of the shops. I knew we weren't to buy food at the shops, but it wasn't clear ahead of time that we should have planned nothing afterward so that we could re-trace our steps. Thankfully, we can order things on-line.
Jennifer, our guide, was terrific. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and very easy to understand and hear. She really helped make the tour great! |

| A wonderful walking tour of locally owned estalishments. The historical and architectural notes were also appreciated. Well worth the price of admission. |

| Nikki was very informative and knowledgeable about the area she showed us. Even though it was a last minute addition to our itinerary, it was well worth it and we plan on going back on another food tour. We even made a second stop after the tour to some of the shops to purchase some items! Well worth it! |

| This tour was a wonderful way to get to know a portion of a big city. (We have done walking tours of Paris and London that we would recommend too.) We loved the tour's choice of food highlights and neighborhoods. Come hungry and ready to shop (after the tour)! |

| We took the tour on August 15th and the weather was great. It was so much fun.We went to places we would never had if not on the tour. All the tastings were great, each with its own uniqueness. The tour guide was Jennifer and she was such a delight. She made sure everyone was taken care of at each and every stop. She loves her job and it shows. Very informative with Chicago tidbits along the route.Be sure and let Jennifer know that the three nurses from Ga. loved the tour and her enthusiam. My favorite was the oil and vinegar shop and tne pizza. Chicago pizza is great. Enough said, I think you can tell I loved it. Thanks for the wonderful time. |

| We did a small group company outing and all really enjoyed the tour! We were able to go to places we had never been despite the fact that all of us were from Chicago. The tour guide was excellent and we would consider doing this again! Thanks! |
