| Our tour was excellent and our tour guide was exceptional. Our group would absolutely do this type of event again either in Chicago or another city. We had 7 stops/tastings along the way. The last stop for Chicago pizza seemed like it was a long way to walk. Our group felt that it would have been better to be located closer to the other stopping points. It would be very beneficial to both the attendees and the shop owners to be able to purchase items at the time that we are in their shop. There were several things that we as a group would have liked to have purchased but didn't have the time to go back after our tour was completed. I would rather add another 45 minutes to the tour to allow for purchases to be made.
Over all - 10 out of 10. |

| Thoroughly enjoyed this tour visiting many vendors that I normally would never see, i.e. spice shop. I really like the beet sauce and Reuben Sandwich at Askenaz deli and the spinach and mozarella cheese stuffed pizza. Jen was absolutely terrific with her knowledge of the area and history of Chicago. She puts so much enthusiasm and style to her tours. I will gladly return to Chicago and retake this tour as well as the Bucktown/Wicker Park tour again. thanks for the experience. Betty Walters |

| Of all the tours that my gal pals & I did in Chicago, this was voted as our favourite. Our tour leader Jen was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and clearly loves her city. We had alot of fun sampling food, and all was good. We learned so much about teas, oils, chocolate making, Chicago pizza and as well, the history of Chicago, esp. the north side. It was well worth the time, and slightly sore feet! You will NOT be disappointed with this tour - guaranteed.

| I enjoyed my Near North food tour so much! Our tour guide was so friendly and knowledgable on all things related to the food we tasted and the neighborhoods we walked through. It gave me a chance to not only try different foods but to see different parts of Chicago I may not have had a chance to experience. I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chicago! |

| My daughter and I had a wonderful time. All the stops were great and so entertaining. We learned a lot about the city as well as the food, were introduced to new experiences like tea, and spices. Our guide was very nice and upbeat, she made the day lots of fun. |

| I hoped this would be fun for 4 natives who want to always learn more about the city - and try new restaurants.
Jessie was animated and delightful. She shepherded 16 of us about with agility. The restaurant/shop tastings were enlightening with the groups clear favorites being the spice shop and olive oil/vinegar shop in Old Town - not places we would just wander into on our own.
It was "light" on architecture but some good, fun stories. The 3 hours whizzed by. Only thing I would change is the last stop was a hike away when there is so much good pizza downtown. |

| I am a local and live in downtown Chicago, and I learned much more than I ever could have expected. The tour guide we had (Saturday at 11:30am) was knowledgeable, fun, informative and very inclusive of a very mixed group. The restaurants and stores we visited were perfectly spaced out, and had wonderful new ideas and even "eating lifestyles" to consider. Needless to say, we backtracked at the end of the tour, and purchased wonderful items from almost every place we visited to take home with us. Everything from Jalapeno flavored oil with a cilantro vinegar to Fire Salt spice and wonderful teas. It was so fun, we are going to do the other tour when more friends from out-of-town come in! Seriously, this tour is not to be missed by out-of-towners OR LOCALS! |

| We were in Chicago for a girls weekend. We really enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Jen was wonderful! The tastings were great. The food was plentiful. I thought that the oil shop wouldn't be very intriguing but it turned out to be one of my favorites. It was interesting to see the neighborhoods and learn a little of the history of the areas. Next time we would like to take the other neighborhood tour since we enjoyed this so much. Highly recommend this one. |

| Tour took 4 hrs rather than 3hrs but it was worth it. Highly recommend tour guide Jennifer, as she was fun and enthusiastic. Don't eat a breakfast prior to the tour. The shop owners are generous in their samples and are very welcoming. Wear good walking shoes. |
