| The walk was wonderful, filled with interesting sights and information but not much food. Our guide was great with a warm personality giving each of us attention and answered our questions even when they were silly. Food however, was sparse getting only one small bit as a sample of the whole establishment except for the pizza. |

| My friends and I met in Chicago for a weekend and we went on the food tour. Our guide Kate was great. Very informative, spoke to everyone in the group, and fun! The places we stopped were great. I learned about tea. Loved the oil shop and spice shop. We actually went back after the tour and purchased several items. It is really 2 tours in one. Learned about the architecture and the foods of the city. We would recommend it highly. Be prepared to walk. Finished up the tour with chocolate. YUMM!!!! |

| My wife and I truly enjoyed our food tour experience. We were not totally thrilled about the Jewish Deli foods, but found it very informational. At all of the stops we were greated by very friendly representatives of that particular establishment. Our tour guide was Nicki, she was a DELIGHT, she also gave us some very informative historical information along the walk as we approached each establishment. I highly recommend this tour to anyone and would go on it again whenever we visit Chicago again. Sincerely, Rick Ruppel. Webster City,Iowa |

| Kate was a delightful and knowledgeable guide. The tour captured the attention of at least one patron of the sites we visited who was fascinated by the discussion and history and asked for more information on the tour. The food started with a delicious pastrami reuben, continued with tea, spices, oil and vinegar, chocolate, pizza, and lots of background and architecture on the way. You won't be disappointed. |

| We came to Chicago for my husband to run the marathon and a family vacation. Based on prior reviews I saw it was recommended to take the tour when you first arrive and I'm so glad we did. We did the North tour and Jen was our guide, phenomenal! Our kids, 10 and 17 enjoyed the tour as much as we did, even in the chilly rainy weather. Jen's vast knowledge of the area, history and architecture was such a nice addition, she truly kept us interested the entire 3 hour trip! We are total foodies and loved the selection of places on the tour. We went back and purchased many items from the tea, oil, spice and fudge shops. Jen also helped us with other dining recommendations as we didn't want to eat at chain restaurants and prefer to eat with the locals. We had dinner at Adoba the night before the marathon (normally eat pasta before but decided to change it up a bit and go Mexican), excellent table side guacamole, food and margaritas! Also, after every race my husband craves a good burger, so she told us about Hamburger Mary's, honestly the best burger I've ever eaten! IF, we had not done the food tour, we would have been stuck on touristy Michigan Ave for 5 days, and wouldn't have known what lie just outside the loop and shopping areas. We figured out the El and busses rather quickly and off we went. Even having 5 days we ran out of time for all the things we wanted to do, we definitely would have done the Wicker Park/Bucktown food tour and we didn't see The Bean! We did have rain 3 days of our 5 day vacation, but we made the most of it, we all had our own umbrellas and rain ponchos! All in all, Chicago is the bomb and we all agreed we would love to go back around Christmas time to see everything decorated and to shop! We will definitely do the other food tour! We shout out a big thanks to Jen! |

| Did the Bucktown tour a few weeks earlier.......
Both tours were good, and felt the Bucktown was the best of the two.
Both guides excellent, but there was more food on the Bucktown. |

| A nice tour, but more food and less walking would make it much nicer. Long stretch of walking with no food at all and just architecture and history talk would not be missed. Tour guide is very nice and well informed, and the food that you do get to eat is delicious. If I was looking for an architecture tour, the CFA does a superb job. This tour, we just wanted to eat! |

| The tour was informational as well as a lot of fun. The food tastings were good. It did require more walking than I expected, and with the warm weather that day, I and my friends were tired and sweaty at the end. Our guide was informed and entertaining.

| Interesting and delicious food tastings. Saw more of the area and learned more local architecture and cultural information than expected - a very pleasant surprise. Will definitely go back to some of the shops and will do the other CPF tour next time I visit Chicago. |
