| Loved the chance to walk through some of the Chicago neighborhoods. Shane was very informed and obviously into his job on explaining Chicago to the group. My one area for improvement would be to beef up the food offerings. I did a similar tour in Greenwich Village a few years ago and we had samples of pizza, a gyro, part of a deli sandwich, pastries (cannoli). The food we had on the Chicago tour was good, but it would have been nice to have a little more. That said, loved the oil/vinegar place and the the two shops where we had chocolate. I would recommend the tour to friends going to Chicago. |

| My mom came into town and my sister and I took her on this tour. It was fantastic.
Great tour guides. The tour was organized, efficient, informative and I learned a lot and experienced new places even though I've lived here for 13 years. I would go on it again and I wish they would expand to other neighborhoods - Wicker Park, Bucktown, Uptown including Argyle Street, Chinatown, Pilsen, etc. |

| We've lived in Chicago for about a year, but haven't spent much time exploring other neighborhoods. We really enjoyed having a guide take us through and give us tid-bits about the neighborhoods we walked through, and enjoyed tasting some of Chicago's best- we'll be heading back to several of the spots on the tour that weren't on our radar. |

| It was a great experience! I would recommend it to others. our guide was great and friendly. It was educational and fun to visit and learn all about the places we stopped at. We all know pizza and chocolate are great but who knew olive oil could be so delicious!!! It was a wonderful surprise! I didnt like the potato pancake at all though.
it felt a little rushed sometimes though, especially at the pizza place because we actually had to sit and eat there. it would have been ok if a little extra time had been scheduled for that point in the day. the eating and rushing thing gave me a stomach ache at the end of the day. Overall it was really great though. |

| My only tiny criticism is that we made 2 stops at chocolate shops. I liked the one in Old Town better than the other. Instead of chocolate again, try a pastry shoppe and or bakery for a little dessert. The Spice Merchant one my personal favorite. I wished that more time was also allowed for shopping there. |

| My friends and I met in Chicago for a weekend and we went on the food tour. Our guide Kate was great. Very informative, spoke to everyone in the group, and fun! The places we stopped were great. I learned about tea. Loved the oil shop and spice shop. We actually went back after the tour and purchased several items. It is really 2 tours in one. Learned about the architecture and the foods of the city. We would recommend it highly. Be prepared to walk. Finished up the tour with chocolate. YUMM!!!! |

| We enjoyed the tour quite a bit. It was well done, the stops on the tour were diverse and many were unique. It was a nice way to explore three Chicago neighborhoods and hear a bit about the architecture and history. We went back the next day and visited three of the stops to shop a bit. |

| Our tour guide, Kent, provided an excellent tour through several neighborhoods. The tour is much more than an opportunity to sample spices, teas, and foods from local shops and restaurants. The tour guides teach you about the neighborhoods, local residents, history, and architecture. I highly recommend this tour.
Wear comfortable shoes! If you choose to walk back to your starting point after the tour ends, you will put several miles in! |
