| My wife and I really enjoyed this tour. The locations of the eateries and quality of food were superb. However, the tour ran an hour over of the scheduled time and we had to run out at the end to make prior plans. We highly recommend but be prepared to stay longer then the agenda states. |

| This tour was a great way to hit several birds with one stone: try out Chicago foods, visit several residential neighborhoods and support local businesses. There was a lot of walking but the best treat was the pizza and the chocolate at the end. Our tour guide (12 noon tour, 8/31) was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. |

| Great tour guide and tour. Enjoyed the history and culture of the city as much as the food. Only disappointment was that it was promoted as more local ethnic eateries but 3 of the stops were for chocolate and others were specialty shops that were not based on any old neighborhood history. Still all was good. Many amazing food and tastes that we will long remember. |

| Tour was okay - lot of walking (thank goodness it was not a hot day), Jewish deli potato pancake good (may be pastrami sampler - 1/4 of sandwich - would be better and those who do not want pastrami or corned beef can have the potato pancake) cheese and crackers good (not much time to shop), stuffed pizza delicious, oil & vinegar tasting ok, spice store interesting again, not much time to shop. Chocolate candy stores (2) nice but to be honest, thought I would be sampling food (naturally, in small amounts). Tour guide was very nice, spoke well, and knew the history of the neighborhoods. Thank you. |

| We had a 1230 tour. If you eat breakfast like they tell you to on the confirmation printout - you'll be fine. The food you taste throughtout the tour is enough to keep you quiet if you have a normal appetite.
Some unique/ items to taste - its a fun time for sure.
You must must must wear comfortable shoes - the tour is advertised as 3 hours long - ours went 4 hours.
What is not obvious is that if you plan to do any walking after this tour - you might not be upto doing much of it in the latter part of the day (and especially the next day) so plan your trip accordingly - keep things relatively light for your day b4/after the tour (or be doing something super fun where you wont notice how tired your legs are).
Keeping this in mind - highly recommended. |

| This is the second time I attended the tour as a work outing. Everyone loved it - including one of my employees who was bit by a dog as we were walking. BTW, the dog's owner gave us bogus info so there was no recourse with the police. Thankfully, the victim wasn't injured badly and is on the mend. I would recommend getting a driver's license from the pet owner should it happen again (God forbid).
Thanks for a great day out! |

| This was my 4th or 5th visit to Chicago and I when I came the first time I went on a bus tour and lasted an hour and a half as it was such a nice summer day. So when I read about this walking tour I thought I would do something different than I usually do when I come to Chicago.
I enjoyed the shops that they took us to and it was great going to the different neighbourhoods of Chicago.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable.
I would recommend it to anyone I know who would be coming to Chicago. |

| This was a great experience and a great way to see where the locals go. The tour included neighborhood points of interest including architecture, who lived where, and which restaurants were worth returning to. The tour guide was informative, knowledgeable, and friendly. The pace was quite comfortable and the exercise kept the guilt of the food consumption off one's mind. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something other than (or in addition to) the obligatory Chicago sights. |
