| My mother and I went to Chicago together for a girl's weekend. My mom's friend recommended this tour and it was amazing! I had done something similar in New York City, but the Chicago tour was awesome! I really enjoyed the food and it was a wonderful day to walk around Old Town, etc., and learn about the architecture, too. I went to places I would never have known about and I can't wait to go back to do the other tour! Thanks, Jessie! You were a great tourguide! |

| Jessie was a fabulous tourguide through the Near North neighborhoods. We discovered foods and restaurants we would have missed unless we lived in the area. My husband and 12-year-old daughter also thought this was a fun way to spend the afternoon. I advise skipping the overhyped "Gino's East" deep dish pizza and having a stuffed slice at Bacino's with Jessie on the Near North tour! |

| Our tour took place on a rainy day but we still had plenty of fun. Our guide and group made the best of it. This tour allowed us to see neighborhoods that we would have never gone to on our own. It was fun to see where people live and not just the most touristy spots. All the food was delicious. I have used my oils I ordered at Old Town Oil and they are awesome! Thanks for everything. |

| My wife and I visited Chicago for the blues festival. Took a few hours to join this food & walking tour. We had a great time. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing.
Our guide was very knowledgable and very sweet ( also very pretty! ).
We were not stuffed with food but were very impressed with the knowledge of the foods we were shown not only by our guide but also by the shop staff. Particularly re teas, spices and oils.
Our guide also gave us a lot of info re the neighbourhoods we walked through which we felt gave a good insight into parts of Chicago you would not reach on your own.
The tour is very good value ( especially compared to similar tours in London which are five times the price ).
Pace is comfortable and met a nice group of people.
I strongly recommend this tour! |

| My group of four women vacationing in Chicago had a fabulous time on the Food Planet Tour of the Gold Coast, Old Town, and Lincoln Park. Despite the rain which accompanied the entire tour, this experience was fun, upbeat, entertaining, and enlightening. I cannot say enough about our fantastic guide, Arianna, a very knowledgeable young lady who made this outing the wonderful time it was. Our group enjoyed stops at seven establishments for food, beverages, and astonishingly great information about food, architecture, culture, and the history of Chicago. Kudos to Arianna and Food Planet and thank you for this unique taste of the Windy City! |

| It rained during most of the tour, and all 17 of us had umbrellas! Didn't detract from the tour at all. Beautiful neighborhoods, interesting history and fun tastings, maybe could have been made a couple more stops?? Or allow 5 more minutes for shopping, especially for out-of-towners? |

| Our tour guide, Jennifer I believe, was very informative. She know alot about the area and what we were eating. The oil shop, spice shop and tea shop were more informative then they were filling, but still there was PLENTY of food on the tour. And it was great to have learned something.
Before I booked, I read the reviews, and several had said they didn't get enough to eat. I don't know what they were doing. I can't remember a shop that seconds or thirds weren't offered. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault. My husband is a big guy with a matching stomach and he couldn't finish all his food. I was also a little leary about the price, just like everyone now a days, we're on a budget. But between the food, the inforamtion and just getting to explore areas tourists don't normaly get to go, it was well worth the money. |

| My wife and I were in Chicago for a few days of fun. The tour was great from every aspect. We had an enthusiastic and very knowledgable guide who took us to some great food spots and helped us learn about three Chicago neighborhoods. My wife is a great cook and as a food-lover she loved the spice shop and the oil shop. The samples at the candy store were great and the concluding pizza stop was excellent. We now have a new favorite pizza place in Chicago. We went back to Old Town twice later in the week for meals and shopping. My wife says, "Our guide was very informative and lots of fun and we found some great stores and great places to eat". |
