| I have taken several food tours in various cities, and this is one of the best! The tour was well planned and offered a fantastic sampling of a variety of foods in several neighborhoods. It was such a treat to see so many different things on a nicely paced walk with a fun and informative guide. |

| I didn't know that the author of the Wizard of Oz came from Chicago! This was just one of the many titbits of information that my very knowledgable and enthusastic guide imparted. And for the food...! A great appetiser (in all its meanings) for Chicago. If it hadn't been so hot (heat advisory warning day), I'd have been more than happy to retrace the tour myself afterwards, and give the stores & food shops the repeat visit they deserved. Luckily for me, the other tour group had to postpone, and I had Shane (the guide) all to myself. He was great, and even arranged for a closed Italian restaurant to open just for us, so that I could sample the pizza. I felt like a VIP at all the stops. Many thanks for making this the highlight of my Chicago trip. |

| Having a tour leader helps you to get a perspective on the local area you are walking. I enjoyed learning more about specific types of foods, which I will continue to delve into. Tips for enjoying the area after the tour were most beneficial. |

| It was more of a walking tour than expected. But not one to be regretted as I learned far more than expected. Places to eat on future trips and how and why the areas of the city were called what they are. But, the food was a disappointment. On a very hot day fluids are most important, but on a cooler day more food would have been nicer. Chocolate tastes are of interest but not filling.! |

| This tour is off the beaten path for sure. Shane kept us interested and entertained for three hours in terrible heat. The deli, bakery and pizzeria were the real food. Tea shop and spice house were interesting. It was great to have large iced tea drink on such a hot day. One too many chocolate shops I would have to say even though they were completely different. Shane was very informative. It was great to see the neighbourhoods up close with someone who knew them so well. Our small group made it very enjoyable too. All in all very good. I hope Food Planet is able to add more tours to different neighbourhoods. |

| Even though it was a very hot day with temperatures into the 100's (well it felt like it!) the tour was thoroughly enjoyable. Shane, our guide, was informative and entertaining as well as making sure that we were supplied frequently with cold water and trying to keep us in as much shade as possible. Even our thirteen year old granddaughter to whom all such learning experiences are "boooring", thoroughly enjoyed herself and couldn't stop talking about it when we returned to our hotel, and since our return to England.
Please pass our thanks on to Shane and we would recommend both him and your tour unreservedly. |

| Our group truly enjoyed this cultural tour of the city, including the food. Even with the unbearable heat and humidity, the tour guide made our trip very comfortable. Water at every stop, including tastes of the area. This is a great experience for persons unfamiliar with the neighborhoods of Chicago, the "off the beaten path" so to speak. Being a native to the area, I still enjoy a day downtown. Our group for a local college, which included persons with disabilities learned a lot in the short time we were together. Not to mention the experience of traveling, time management and manners in the places of business. Great learning experience for our students.

| Shane provided us with a very enjoyable afternoon of delicious food and local history. As first time visitors we saw a part of Chicago that we would have otherwise missed and got an insiders view of some of Chicago's historic neighborhoods and specialty shops. We highly recommend this tour . |

| Our tour guide was very personable and charming. At each stop he was well prepared and very enthusiastic. The tour went to great restaurants and shops. I had a great time and have already recommended to friends. The only suggestion I would make is for the guide to keep learning about the areas we walked thru for additional architectural details/information. |
