| It was a very enjoyable day. Our tour guide, Nikki, did a great informative tour. The shops that we stopped at were impressive, and courteous. However, I feel for the price that was paid, a variety of more food should have been provided at every place we stopped. |

| This was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. The $40 was well worth the money spent (but be warned - driving in from the suburbs and parking in Water Tower parking garage added $26 to the cost of the outing).
The tour guide, Nicki, was very knowledgeable about the 3 neighborhoods covered during the 3+ hour walk, and very entertaining.
The food tastings were great - a nice variety. It was nice to visit the local "mom and pop" type of shops that need our business to thrive.
I would highly recommend this tour. |

| We had Jen as our tour guide. She did a great job guiding us through the Chicago tour. I was on the tour with my parent while they were up visiting me in Chicago. The tour was made up of 8 people, which was a good size.
I found out about the tour from metromix. It was great. Jen mentioned that there might be a Chicago loop tour going south. That would be a good idea. I would like to do the tour again next year, but with different spots.
We went back that day and the next to the merchants and used some of the coupons that were handed out with the tour packet.

| As a local, with out of town guests, this was a fun activilty for everyone. I learned about shops that I didn't know existed in the city and everyone enjoyed the great food. I highly recommend this tour (if you are into food!) |

| We are a group of women that travel together once a year. We love chocolate. Both the food and distance were traveled were perfect. We got to see a part of Chicago we probably would of never seen.
We could not of asked for a better tour guide. She made everyone feel very comfortable. And she was full of information. Some of the women really don't walk to much and for them it was just perfect. Plus we learned alot about spices and oil and tea.
I am the one that booked it and they gave me a gold star for the day. Sometimes it's hard to find things for us today that everybody can enjoy.
I would highly recomend this tour. Sue Niebur

| I wanted a walking tour with a different experience and I received much more than I expected. The various tour stops were fun. It was a wonderful variation of businesses. Those shops that took time to speak to us were very informative and I learned something in each one. What really made the experience compete was the history that our tour guide shared as we walked along the route. He pointed out many Chicago landmarks that I would mave missed because I was not familiar with the area. The guide should be commended for his knowledge of not only the tour stops and area history, but for his friendliness and ability to relate to every one in the group. |

| We had an absolute blast and learned quite a bit more about the city than we thought we would. It was all very interesting, and the food was very good, with one exception. None of us (six) enjoyed the potato pancakes. They were very greasy and heavy, and not a good way to start the tour at 11am. It didn't detract from the tour; we just ate a few bites to be polite and pitched them. |

| The tour gave us the opportunity to do and see things we would never have done on our own. I can't believe we drank vinegar and oil and it was delicious. |

| The food tour was very informative. Nikki was a great tour guide. It is a great tour to include early in the visit. We were able to receive a lot of information about the city. In fact, we revisited many of the stops later in our trip. The sights were fantastic.
As far as the food, it was a little skinny. If more stops can not be added, I would suggest changing the order of stops. For example, I would start with more substantial foods and finish will the well loved chocolates and desserts.
I was almost tired of trying chocolates until we hit the pizza shop. Then, I was able to eat more of the sweets.
Overall, a very fun and informative tour. I would suggest taking the tour early in the trip. We made several choices based on Nikki's recommendations. |
